I have dealt with chronic pain including myofascial pain & a connective tissue disorder, among other symptoms & accidents, for over 13 years now. I was going to another location that completely(!) dropped the ball, and did not provide the level of care & support needed for a more complex case, or even a basic one. I was lucky enough to get into Mike's schedule again, and even the hour drive there, and back, is completely worth it. I'd rather drive an hour to and from Chelmsford twice a week to receive quality care that I know will help me get stronger & manage my symptoms, rather than drive 5 minutes to a place that honestly made me hopeless (again) and feel like I was never going to get better, and that they did not care in the least. The experience here with this team is nothing short of extraordinary. They also will help with providing any resistance bands you need for home exercises without giving you a hard time about "what insurance covers." They provide cupping, dry needling, etc. and are flexible with allowing you to use the space for your exercises as long as you need. Mike has an extensive education in sports medicine and how the body actually works from an experienced perspective, not just from reading books exclusively. He has a very hands-on approach, which is necessary for certain ailments to be able to handle certain exercises. He's said he has had the same training as any other physical therapist, so it goes to show that other pts at other locations don't apply what they learned in school. Any question you have about your body, or exercises to do or not do, he has the answer based on your personal situation. Not only that, I've worked with others at this location who are trained with Mike so you're in good hands no matter who you see here, or at their location in Billerica. I had a bad skiing accident where I could not put a shirt on or turn the steering wheel left. First, I went to another national known PT place and they did a very good job. A few months later, I had stabbing electrical pains shooting down my left arm. I went to the doctor. The X-rays showed disk compression on 4 neck vertebrae, and I think C6-C7 area was the one pinching down on my nerve. This was the one that was effecting my tricep area in my left arm. So, I was given another prescribtion to go to PT. I was like how is another PT session going to cure a nerve issue? I knew I needed something above and beyond what the national chain offered and found ProRehab. What convinced me to go was that they stated on their website that they specialized in shoulder injuries and someone had written a solid review specifically on their shoulder...I was sold.
