Absolutely delicious. Portions were large enough to make two light meals for each of us. The only ding against was that the women's restroom smelled like dirty diapers, so that was unpleasant and kind of made us wonder what else wasn't so clean. That said, if we are in the area again, we would definitely order for takeout. The food was just that good.

Tallahassee, FL: Craving some Chinese takeout? Look no further than this local establishment. With…read moreprices rivaling those of Panda Express - but with food that is actually tasty - Bamboo Wok is a must for quick and easy takeout. Despite driving past Bamboo Wok numerous times in the last couple years, I have never ordered anything from the restaurant. Having tried their food once at a friend's house, I was unimpressed. I am glad, however, to have given them another chance. I ordered my food through Door Dash and had their food delivered. Whether that's on Door Dash, this restaurant, or my general close proximity to the restaurant, my food arrived steaming hot. I was impressed by how vegetarian friendly Bamboo Wok's menu is. I ordered the garlic broccoli which was delicious. The vegetable lo mein was similarly well made and only slightly oily. The only dish I didn't care for was the cream cheese rangoon, which was way too sweet. Having paid only about $15 - not including the Door Dash fees - I was plenty happy getting about four and a half meals from one order. Though I can't speak to the location - having ordered my food and never eaten in the restaurant - I'll definitely be ordering from here again. The garlic broccoli alone is worth it.

A Sunday Favorite!…read more New Garden is one of my favorite local Chinese restaurants, conveniently located on North Thomasville Road, next to the Bradfordville Publix. Whenever I've had a long, tiring Sunday and don't feel like cooking, this is one of my go-to places. My favorite order is the Mongolian Beef, but I always ask for it with light onions only. The original comes with additional vegetables, but they're always happy to customize it exactly the way I like it. I usually pair it with one of their delicious egg rolls. Another dish I highly recommend is the Boneless Spare Ribs with Pork Fried Rice. It's absolutely outstanding! What really makes New Garden special, though, is the people. The owners are incredibly friendly and genuinely appreciate their customers. Their customer service is exceptional, and they always make you feel welcome. I also love that they occasionally bring candies and other unique treats from China. Those little touches give the restaurant a charm that sets it apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area. If you're looking for great Chinese food, generous portions, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving New Garden a try.
