We chose Naan and ordered some chips as an extra. The food arrived on time and was hot and fresh. The Samosas were nice and crisp and the Naan was gorgeous as was the Tandoori Chicken Tikka. The Sultan is one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere IMHO. The aroma of authentic Indian cuisine greats you as you enter the Sultan. My all-time favorite dish here is the Lamb Vindaloo (5/5 £13.35) -- a fiery, spicy curry with tender lamb. I enjoy it with a side of Corriander Naan (5/5 £3.85) and some Mango Lassi. Located in a former Methodist church, the Sultan has kept many of the church's features in the dining room, which contribute to the atmosphere. It also does not serve alcohol, but there's a pub nearby for a pint before dinner. The staff has always been welcoming, friendly and attentive.
