It was designed by Marvin Penick and the idea was conceived by city councilman Mark Murphy. I think the best way to get here the first time is to GPS. You'll turn off of highway 92 or North Alabama Road onto Wiley Bridge Road. The road is narrow and it's through a residential neighborhood. (I wouldn't recommend coming here at night unless you are familiar with the roads.) You want to stay on Wiley for about 1/2 miles and then turn onto Mountain Park Road. The city hall is a small little cute cabin and the library is right on the porch. There are some comfortable furniture along with a coffee table for you to use. It's a fantastic little place for a family outing. Highly recommend it.

The single door is secured with an eye hook. Inside, two shelves that were mostly childrens books. Because we had driven here in my friend's car, I did not have my own box of books I am distributing. As this isn't a Little Free Library (as far as I can tell), it is not in their map database. I don't know who the steward of the box is or what their message might be. Standing on two posts, it has two doors. The inside has two shelves that were quite full of books on the upper shelf and the lower shelf seemed to be pamphlets of religious material. Most of the books looked to be religious and for this location, completely understandable. This library is not listed in the Little Free Library system. I was so shocked I just stood there like a ninny the tiny man also said his name was Binny. I immediately apologize for being rude. and thanked him for offering me his food. I said I came to borrow a book that I'm sure he's a really good cook. Binny said to come by anytime, just open the door there is no chime. After I drove home in my red car I realize that was really bizzare. I guess these Little Library aren't just there they're really little secret elf lair.

This little library is right by a large apartment complex, so it might have a few regulars. It's definitely in the ideal spot to be a great little library. Take a peek! Borrow a book! They have mostly kids books usually but you can find adult reading also. ***Please remember to always close the door so the books don't get wet if it rains. Nobody wants a moldy book!*** This is also a great place to leave those books you have already read and no longer want to keep. Magazines are welcome also. There is also a decent kids playground in the middle of the shopping center with park benches and a stage area. It's to the left of the Little Library (if you are in front facing it).
