However, I wanted to see what was out there and available now many years later. I felt confident in my search as I had my previous experiences to help me when it came time to order so I perused the Web to see what the Pizza options were now. I found several of the old stand-bys who were obviously still putting out decent pies; then I noticed Santa Lucia and was intrigued by what seemed to be an authentic dedication to a quality pie. Even though they were a little more expensive I didn't mind if they backed up what they promoted; attention to quality. I can tell you right now, I was not disappointed; I went to the restaurant to pickup my order and the staff were very personable, they even tossed in a small, last customer of the night bonus (a little topping booster). The only thing better then the service personnel was the taste of some of the best pizza my tastebuds have ever experienced; it was a pure taste delight...the toppings were fresh, the cheese was rich & lush, the tantalizing sauce was stellar & complemented the cheese & toppings perfectly.....well done Santa Lucia...the pizzas in a word were "magnifico"....so this is what pizza heaven tastes like....I only wish there were one of these restaurants in Alberta.... - Wes B....

(thick crust) Years later I moved to Winnipeg.MB could not find a decent pie. Well I did try Santa Lucia and was absolutely blown away. Their Greek sauce is out of this world. The Mexican is hands down the best pie I've ever had. The Meat Lovers is unreal and have you ever tried their giro pizza? Santa Lucia is hands down the best pizza anywhere!

Absolutely terrible! Service was alright, they messed up order but not terribly. When we were eating they were vacuuming and banging stuff around making it almost impossible to hear the other person sitting in-front of you! I would just never go here again. Shitty food!

Waited 10 minutes at a table in the oto try and place a takeout order…read more Another customer came in and waited at the bar for about 5 minutes. ALL staff was in the back, despite there being 3 other occupied tables in the lounge and 1 in the restaurant. I was told in order to place a takeout order I had to show proof of vaccination (that is, despite the provincial order, a serious violation of federal & provincial health privacy as well as an international human rights violation...as in: you've opened yourself up to a lawsuit every time your staff asks for proof) just to enter the lounge. I tried to place my order, pasta Tuesday, and was told that it's not available for takeout. I've had it for takeout at this location twice in the past month as well as at others in the province. Instead of the special price I was told it was going to be $24.XX. Service has gone down hill at an alarming rate as has the respect for paying customers. Enforcing an illegal health order might seem wise at first glance, but you're losing business and risking lawsuits.
