I started researching cab companies before arriving in San Diego, because I needed a reliable ride…read moreback from my event to the airport. My first call was to Yellow Cab. I asked the dispatcher if she could give me a fixed rate or minimally a quote: She wouldn't. For me, a woman coming from out of town, it did not give me the assurance I needed that, things would go well, if I couldn't be given the courtesy of a fixed rate or minimally, a quote up front. That lack of transparency was a big red flag. I crossed them off my list. I then called Coastal Cab and spoke with Adam, the dispatcher. I asked him for a fixed rate and he said, "Of course," and guaranteed the ride would cost $50 from the Del Cerro neighborhood to the airport. I made the reservation and called about 30 minutes before my pick-up time, just to ensure I was on their list for a ride at that time and he assured me I was and the driver showed up exactly at the requested time. The cab (a Prius) was clean and the driver (Jamal) was friendly, a good listener and most importantly, reliable and safe. It seems to me that it's rare these days to have such an experience of competence and ease with making arrangements with a new business, but Adam and Jamal made things seamless for me. I will absolutely call Coastal Cab in the future, next time I'm in San Diego and need a lift.

AK is great.. If you are looking for a solid pick up, ride, etc... AK is the guy. What I…read moreappreciated about him was he was on time, and his communication to make our ride happen, was excellent. He works through text and he is quick to respond. We had to change our ride several times and he kept working to make it work. His airport pickup was smooth. His pick up our home was early and he was on time and ready. He's also a really likeable guy with couple of young kids. I love supporting him and will now always use him for our rides. The best thing which I think we all look for with cab rides is reliability. AK rocks it. (as you can see by his many great reviews!)

I told the driver to drop me off at Virgin airline departures. We came to the airport, the driver said "Here is Virgin" I gave him my card, added a tip and got out. After a couple of minutes, I learned that I am at a wrong terminal. I had to walk about 15-20 min to reach to the Virgin. After arriving home, I contacted the taxi company with a complain. We truly cannot say enough about our experience with Your Personal Drivers (YPD)! From the moment…read morewe first inquired about their services, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and clear in answering all of our questions. We booked YPD for both our San Diego airport departure and arrival transportation for a party of seven, and we were so pleased with the experience on both occasions. We were warmly greeted each time, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The Teslas were clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable for our group. We had no issues fitting all of our luggage, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful details--each vehicle was stocked with water and snacks, which was such a nice extra touch and made our family feel well taken care of. We also received confirmation texts for both our departure and arrival, and our drivers arrived early each time, which gave us great peace of mind. The booking and payment process was equally smooth, straightforward, and transparent. Overall, YPD made our airport transportation completely hassle-free and enjoyable. We will absolutely be using their services again and would happily recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you, YPD, for making our travel experience that much easier!

The car is super clean and we were offered snacks both times! First time I used him he picked my kiddo and I up to fly oneway, out of Hawthorne (near LAX). Our pickup time was super early, and James greeted us, not just on time, but early (with no rush to us)! He helped us with our bags and got us to the airport safely and on time. The second time we contacted him, it was again for an flight out of LAX. We booked a roundtrip with him, 9-days apart. We flew in and out of LAX...our trip back into LAX was super late and James was right there waiting for us! It really couldn't have been easier! We notified him when we landed and then told him what pillar number we were at and within 3 minutes he was there with a smile again! The convince to have him there to drive us back to North County was great. We were so tired, and to think if we had to get our car from a lot, drive back to SD or stay in a hotel...no way! It was nice knowing we had James waiting for us, to get us home safely! The pricing is totally fair. You pay for great service and for the convince that YPD/James offers. I would recommend this company a 100 times over and will use again in the future!
