Primrose provides monthly calendars with school-wide activities as well as a full calendar of future breakfasts, lunches and snacks, which parents can review and approve. We know if there ever was a concern, the leadership team would handle immediately (all of whom know the name of every child in every class, which is amazing to me). I apologize for…read morethe long review but want other parents to be warned and understand our experience so that they can make an informed decision about where they send their children, especially infants. While our son only attended the school for a total of 8 hours, it has been nothing but less than favorable interactions from the initial drop off. When my husband and I arrived to drop our son off, the assistant director was on what sounded like a personal telephone call discussing another parent complaining about her. After waiting there for 5 minutes, she got off the phone, and did not know who we were or why we were there. We explained it was our son's first day and we were there to drop off. She walked us to our son's classroom where we met his teacher. Walking into the room, there was a single teacher getting bottles ready while 5 infants sat on the other side of the gate area, several of which were whining/crying. Most of the lights were off and the room is crowded and dark. The teacher said hello to me and my husband and asked me about our son's feeding/sleeping routine. We asked if we could help set him up in the room, which they allowed. At no point during this interaction did anyone say hello or welcome our son. We ultimately left him in the room playing with toys while the teacher continued to get the other children their food. Not once did we see her, or anyone, acknowledge our son before leaving. It was so discomforting that both my husband and I considered walking back into the room and taking our son home right then. I reported this to the director that morning around 10:00am. She apologized for the experience, explained it was an off morning and that she would talk with the assistant director as well as the teacher. When we picked up our son at 11:30am, he was exhausted, and had clearly been crying a lot. Upon our son's return to school, the second drop off was better. The following week, our son attended his third and final day at school. When I returned to pick up my son, the school director, Michelle, was also in the room and the teacher was holding my son sleeping. They informed me that my son had hurt himself while crawling, resulting in a bloody lip and scratched nose. On my car ride home, I called the school and asked to speak with Michelle director about what had occurred so that I could understand better. Beth, the assistant director, explained that Michelle was on a tour so I asked that she give me a call back after the tour. After two days and five telephone calls/voicemails, I finally was able to get in touch with the school director. At no point did anyone return my phone call or call to see why my son was absent after an incident at the school. The incident itself was not an issue, as I know babies will get hurt as they learn to crawl and walk but it was how the school handled things following the incident that was the problem. Sunbrook Academy advertises itself as a safe and nurturing place for your baby to receive loving care and learning experiences. The Infant Care Program is committed to making the first transition away from home natural and easy for both child and parent. Our experience was anything but that. After several weeks of back and forth with the regional director or Cadence, I was finally able to review the video of the incident involving my son. It was as described but the whole ordeal left me very disappointed in the school and how they care for children. I unfortunately have heard more horror stories about this school over the last few weeks and had I known any of this prior to enrolling our son, I would never have let him attend this school.

My child was always safe and well looked after but also given independence that was suitable for a 5 year old. She had a decent class size of 20 and two awesome teachers. All three directors were such a joy to work with and communicate with. Breakfast, snack and lunch were provided daily (through Georgia Pre-k program) and I was very thankful she received such health meals and portions. A full menu was listed every single month to view in the lobby. She learned more than I expected and during her kindergarten assessment, the teachers were impressed. She did plenty of hands-on learning in different "centers", play time outside, daily naps (or quiet time if she couldn't nap), and she did so well with the routine. The center itself had safety protocols in place, each parent had passcodes assigned to the to enter the building, and we also used an app to communicate with all staff and teachers. I received daily photos of what my child was working on or participating in. The center was clean, bright, welcoming. They held different events throughout the year where families could attend and enjoy with the staff (I loved being able to be involved!). They also held curriculum nights to learn more about what the children were doing and learning in class. They had plenty of theme days and really kept things "fun" for the families and parents. Even "Muffins with Mom" or "breakfast on the go". Directors Lisa, Leslie and Cheryl were absolutely wonderful. All staff members I came in contact with were always loving, caring, professional. I am truly so thankful we had a great experience and that my child was always safe. We love and appreciate the Laugh and Learn team!

Well I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff but primarily Lisa the director a d Leslie the assistant director. I come in 5 days a week and chat their heads off. I never am told go away or seem they don't care. They give me good and bad updates about my son and their love towards him means the world to me. I have used their techniques with the school he attends because they work!! I value the whole center and staff because truly loving each child is apart of their daily goal!!

We thought it would be a great fit for our 10-month-old son. From the moment we got there, the Director did not greet us very welcomingly. She seemed very rushed and anxious by having us there. It was a very awkward and uncomfortable tour. When we finished, we mentioned that we would like to get on the waitlist, as many daycares are stating that their availability is full. Her direct response was, "I would visit other daycares before making the decision or choice to enrolling at Goddard." I have never felt so rejected and disrespected of my time. This is not the way a first-time parent should feel about providing their child the best education/care. I honestly can say that this is an inclusion school, not diverse at all. Very disappointed!

Beware! The owner believes herself to be above the state laws for Pre-K programs!…read more Charges $165 per MONTH for lunch ($8 per day - do you spend that much on YOUR lunch? Can you say "profit center"? State guidelines are a MAX of $120 per month) Refuses to allow lunch to be provided by the parent for Pre-K programs, although state law says it is required to be allowed if any other class in school can bring food from home. Now she says that yes, you can bring lunch from home, but must STILL pay $80 per month, to NOT be provided any food! Yeah, profit center. She does not care at all about the laws of the state. She was asked about other options for low income families and lied to each and every person in Georgia Pre-k. State law says the state must approve any disenrollment, but Farah threw my son out today, while calling me names (possibly homophobic or maybe just because I am a young struggling veteran). What did I do? Explained the law to her that said she could not charge for lunch if the student was a "Category 1" student. She told me I still owed her money. That she could kick out my son because it is her school. If you ask for an accounting, don't think you will get something from a computer. No - handwritten scribbles. I have asked MULTIPLE times for a bill. Dont expect her organization to improve We have used other Goddard Schools - this one is horrible. The teachers here are amazing but the second you say anything about the ridiculous prices or the owner breaking the law *and yes, there is now an open investigation and this school may be on probation* she will kick you out and embarrass you. The owner does not care about your children. Only your wallet.
