We boarded our 8 month old puppy there for 9 nights and they emailed us, and kept us up to date with how our dog was doing. We enrolled her in the day camp for several of the days (I recommend it). She was so happy there that she didn't want to go home! The staff are very personable, friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. Very clean inside, and when your dog stays over they wash the bedding on a daily basis. You don't even need to bring a bed or dog toys as they have some. They are very concerned about your dog's safety and health. I recommend them to anyone in the area who needs dog daycare, or boarding.

My dog has epilepsy, so requires regular expensive blood tests to monitor his medications as well as emergency hospital visits to treat seizure outbreaks. The vets at Fredericton Animal Hospital are always very conscientious at working with me to determine the best procedures to keep my dog healthy and treat his disease at the same time as not pushing unnecessary procedures. The vets, technicians, and receptionists all made efforts to get to know my dog's personality. My dog has spent a few nights in the hospital on two occasions, and both times, the technicians told me stories about his quirky personality traits and how much they enjoyed him. Their compassion and appreciation for my dog always make me confident that he is well cared for when he requires overnight visits at the hospital. I highly recommend Fredericton Animal Hospital.

I have totally lost confidence since I get different answers from different vets. It seems no one reads the notes from the previous visits or maybe the notes are not updated. I leave with no written instructions, no follow ups on test results and get charged for every little thing. My frustration must be showing because the last few visits, staff have been very cold to me and my little guy. Looks like I will be moving on to another animal hospital.

We have used Solid Gold on a number of occasions, for our current dog and dogs in the past ( at…read moreleast 12 years). We have always been more than satisfied, until 2016. We had left our dog for two weeks, leaving our other animals at home with a sitter. A few days into his stay, he was bit by another dog; minor, but needed to be taken to the vet. Instead of calling the sitter, as directed...we definitely left the appropriate number....I saw the attendant record it...they called the number of a family member who we had visited the year before; they were on vacation. Long story short, our loving, mild mannered dog, spent the better part of two weeks in a kennel with a cone on his neck; for him, a living hell. We arrived home to a sizable bill, but did not realize the impact of the visit until we tried to take him to the vet. This incident has totally ruined this dog. He is now extremely apprehensive to any change and is visibly upset by any loud noise. If you pick up a newspaper or a fly swatter, he can't get away fast enough. His anxiety is so great when we take him to the vet, we now have to medicate him before the visit with trazadone and gabapentin. This only slightly lessens his desire to climb out the nearest window. Our vet says his dramatic behavioral change had to be triggered by a traumatic event. I have a friend who experienced a similar change after boarding her retriever with them. I'm not saying that they don't provide good care, I'm stressing that if you leave your animal with ANYONE....do not let the busyness of the early morning drop off time deter you from verifying that they have all the pertinent information before you turn over your pet.....they're depending on you. We have never used them since, as we received no followup call from the owners in regard to this incident.

Our little dog developed a problem and Debbie did everything she could think of to save her for us. She even reached out to other vets to see if anyone had any ideas of what was going on but no one had any ideas. We had them do the different tests they suggested but everything came back clear. It was a real mystery and Deb went above and beyond to try and solve it. She stayed with us and her assistant fed Bailey her favorite treat as she past away. Five stars aren't enough.

To describe Bulk Barn, it's like "Honest Weight" (a store in Albany NY) on steroids! This store is…read moredefinitely a baker's paradise! Bulk Barn carries thousands of bulk items (almost everything I can think of and more) including spices, grains, flour, oats, confections, candies, chocolates, nuts, dried fruits, popping corn, seeds, snacks, nut butters, sugars, sweeteners, coffee, drink mixes, cake mixes, dried beans, rice, pasta, cereals, soup stocks, pet foods, and much more, all self serve bagged & tagged (write down item number) and weighed by the pound or 100 grams. Ingredients for the products are clearly displayed next to the price(s). They also carry vitamins & herbal supplements, as well as plenty of baking supplies and Wilton cake decorating supplies. I was very impressed by the massive selection of bulk foods that Bulk Barn carries in their store. What is great about this concept is that you can buy what you need and don't have to buy entire packages of specific ingredients for a recipe. If you need only 1/2 lb of flour, you can buy 1/2 lb of flour and not have to purchase a whole 5 lb bag of flour. The prices here are decent for Canadian standards, but seemed high for an American. Just to note, I've seen much lower prices for many of the same bulk goods sold in the USA, most of which are prepackaged. For example, pine nuts were around $30/lb at Bulk Barn and I can get pine nuts in the USA for about $24 for 1 lb - eight 2 oz packages at $2.99 each. Sam's Club in Bangor ME had pine nuts for $9.93 for 15 oz (in Sept 2012). Pasta (wheat) was over $3/lb at Bulk Barn and pasta is usually around $0.99/lb on sale in the USA. The prices for peanuts and bagged snacks at Bulk Barn seemed pretty reasonable. Also, look out for Bulk Barn sales flyers in the newspapers which have coupons attached (ie. $3 off $10 purchase before taxes).
