I have 2 of their dogs and couldn't be happier. Both are healthy, highly trainable and very…read moreprotective of their home. Both transitioned into my home without issue and settled in nicely within a week. Both required socialization. I will say that Dutch Shepherd and Belgians are not for first time owners who think dogs come out of the box trained without any challenges along the way. You should have a balanced trainer with experience in the breed (I chose a trainer with a back ground in IPO/Schutzhund and had great success). Do your research, understand what you own and be willing to put the work in. My dogs are beyond loyal, loving and intelligent and are of sound mind and body.

Got a Belgian Shepherd from here in May 2024. Definitely not purebred, his vaccinations weren't up…read moreto date, had no paperwork, and was full of worms. The first day we had our dog home - he had fear of many noises and still does until this day. He is fear aggressive, has bit his owner many times (attacked), is sketchy and unable to be handled or touched without being snapped at. He has no confidence whatsoever. Attacked his trainer for just walking him. I reached out with all my issues, asking for help and just money back to put towards all the training he will need. Haven't received one word from him. Even caught his girlfriend responding on fb and promised she would let Matt know. Again, ghosted. To top it off, I took him for his 1 year neuter because he only has one testicle descend, and also found out that he had an umbilical hernia (which happened at birth). We have been told to behavioural euthanize this dog due to his aggression and many anxiety issues. Do not get a dog from this "breeder". This is textbook backyard inbred breeding. Do yourself a favour and spend some additional $$ and buy from a real breeder with paperwork.

My poor pup was attacked by another dog . I brought him to the veterinarian in My town. The first…read moreday they did surgery and stitched him up . When we went back to have is drain tubes taken out the vet came out and said , well it's not good ,he has a bunch a dead skin . You have like 3 options . 1- take all the dead skin off and wrap with clean dressing ever 2 days and it probably won't work . 2- have his leg amputated and hope no infection happens . 3- euthanizing. Which she recommended. I couldn't bear to put down my best friend. So I went to Veazie veterinarian and go a 2nd Opinion. The WONDERFUL doctor there said to forget EVERYTHING the other vet said . Chance it doing great . He walks , he wags his tail , yes he's in rough shape but we can fix him . Chances first surgery at Veazie Veterinarian hospital cost a lot but so worth it . Chance is eating again, he's barking at noises . I will be moving all my animals to Veazie for now on . The doctor is the most caring and understanding veterinarian I have ever met . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In November we bought a little baby Sphinx kitten from a breeder just outside of Boston ( message…read moreme and I will tell you the Sphinx breeder to avoid). At any case we took her here and she checked out as healthy at the time. A month later we were back because of poopy problems. We found out she had a disease that is common in unclean catteries. We received a prescription and the problems started clearing up. Then the real problems started. Our little girl was losing weight and was tired all the time. Because we travel so much we had to take her to an emergency vet in Connecticut. At that point she was diagnosed with FIP which is nearly 100% fatal. We made sure all records were sent to her doctor at the Veazie clinic and they did so much research and expressed such concern for our little Arista. They made appointments available at short notice which during these times is amazing. We drove from Rhode Island on more than one occasion because they were the only one that we could make a appointment with to do the blood tests we needed to monitor her progress. My wife and I sourced the drugs and administered the treatments because vets are not allowed to do it or even tell us about the possible treatment for this horrible disease but we needed a concerned vet that we could ask questions and monitor our treatment progress. Today our little girl is happy, healthy and full of energy. We have another month before we can say she is 100% cured and we are confident she will be. Thank you so much for the outstanding effort everyone at this clinic did for us and our little baby.

I feel compelled to add my voice to review Marie and her cattery. My experience was polar opposite…read morefrom the other reviews... From the moment of initial contact, Marie was professional and responsive and knowledgeable. I had MANY questions as I had zero experience in pure bred animals (more of a farm cat/stray rescue kitten person). I had done loads and loads of research, trying to educate myself as much as possible. I was drawn to Marie's cattery because she allowed the kittens to leave at 8 weeks (always the age I had my kittens previously) and her prices were lower than any in my area. I opted to fly and pick up my babies because I didn't want them to fly alone-so that choice is up to the kitty parent. I prefer to fly with my babies in cabin but with past kitties have done cargo and the airlines were exceptional taking care of them, even during a transcontinental flight. I also questioned about genetic testing-she explained she'd not had issues before and the testing was VERY expensive, thus raising the cost of the kittens. I reasoned that to pay a lot more money for a cat guaranteed not to have one disease but could have about a million others didn't make sense for me. My babies at pick up were THE cutest things ever (of course) and Marie described their personalities to a T, clearly she knew them well. The girl was friendly straight away, the boy, as Marie described he would be, was hesitant for about 3 hours with us but slept on my face even that first night and from then until now (2 years later) we can't get them to leave us alone, especially him! . I asked to see their parents, she explained her cattery was akin to a farm in that the cats were 'working animals' and took me to the breeding pens. They were VERY clean and the cats were all socialized. While I love the thought of all kitties curling up at the foot of the bed (or on your face as our huge boy still tries to do!) I am practical enough to understand they are animals, and food, water, and care are quite adequate. Expensive cat trees and fancy toys are optional. Marie continued to answer any questions I had regarding timing for spaying/neutering months down the road and continued to be invested in the updates of my sweet (huge!) babies. Two years in and we are so in love with our walk on a leash, play fetch, take a shower with you babes. We're those weirdos that show you cat videos at dinner! I would without hesitation get another kitten from Marie...except I couldn't afford the grocery bill
