I would definitely not state that they have 'your best interest at heart' and would advise to do your own research if working with them. While providing reasonable customer services during the house search process, once the sale was complete and Baniqued had nothing to gain, the owner turned around and was flat out rude and was screaming on the phone over something that I admittedly agreed to, which was not clearly stated when being negotiated. While I understand that it is on me to verify, the unprofessional behavior and poor customer experience when inquiring about a resolution was very disappointing. I can not say that I recommend working with this company and will definitely not be working with them going forward.

My wife and I lived in our home in Danville for 23 years. During that time, we never did establish…read moreany sort of personal or business relationship with a real estate agent after the individual who originally sold us the house passed away. Approaching 2026, my wife and I made the decision to move out of state to be closer to our children and grandchildren. We realized we would have to sell our home, and assessing the scope of what was going to go into this, we realized we needed to select a quality individual or team who would handle all facets of this transaction. Over the years, we had been receiving flyers from a team at Compass called Frazzano Tse. We got a good feeling from the approach of their marketing pieces which prompted us to reach out to them to see if they would be willing to speak to us. While I knew prior to the meeting that they had a superior track record in the field and were very accomplished, during the meeting itself there was not a single mention of this. The entire conversation revolved around the needs of my wife and I, what we are trying to accomplish, our time frame, and what was important to us. While our original intent was to perhaps interview a couple of different agents, at the end of that meeting we made the decision that that was not necessary. We were confident that we found people who truly had our best interests at heart. Understanding that this was not our areas of expertise, we promised ourselves that we would do exactly what Alex and Joe asked of us. During the process, there were a number of suggestions that they made where our initial reaction was to push back because of our preconceived notions. Each time they explained to us the cause and effect of what they asked of us. Ultimately, we put quite a bit of time and money into making our house more attractive and desirable with the hope that it would sell quickly and for top dollar. Finally at the end of a process that started six months earlier, the house was ready to go on the market. To our amazement, the very first individual who viewed the property made an offer that was significantly over the price we were asking for all cash and asked for a quick close. This was a quality buyer who obviously felt strongly about owning our home. The escrow process also went very smoothly, and from start to finish, from the day our home was listed to close was less than 30 days. I base the success of any business transaction on the number of times one is negatively surprised during the process. We can honestly say there was not a single point in time when there was a timeline missed, or that what they said would happen didn't actually happen, and oftentimes turned out better than what they prepared us for. In closing, I do believe one of the best decisions we ever made was going on a simple hunch from a marketing piece that these two individuals were people we wanted representing us in the single largest financial transaction of our lives. After months of looking for a home, Vicky McKeown (real estate agent on the Joe Frazzano Team)…read moreshowed us a home in Danville that was in complete disrepair and needed a lot of work. We were hesitant in purchasing a home that needed so much work, but Vicky told us that she specializes in fixing up homes and if we purchased this home, she would use her connections through her remodeling company Galeana's Creation to fix it at a discount. Specifically, she told us that she would charge us her cost for the item's needed for the remodel. Well, that did not happen. After confronting her about the discrepancies, she decided to stop showing up and left us with a home that is not finished. I guess after she made the commission on the sale of the home, it wasn't worth her time to follow through with her word. We contacted Joe Frazzano and he seemed genuinely nice and wanted to help initially. We told him that Vicky should make things right and if she did not, we would be forced to file a complaint with the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) and voice our personal experience on social media forums such as Yelp & Nextdoor. After not hearing from Vicky or Joe for that past 2 weeks, they have now hired an attorney to sue us if I file a complaint with the California Department of Real Estate or post our experience online. How does that make any sense? They are trying to stop us from filing a legitimate complaint with the state licensing board by intimidating us with an attorney! I will show the DRE investigator the letter their attorney sent us stating they will sue us if we contact the Department of Real Estate. They don't want us to tell the DRE what happened to us! I'm also going to contact Channel 7 On Your Side Michael Finney and let him know what a disaster this has been. According to the Consumer Review Fairness Act (Federal Trade Commission statute 15 U.S.C. § 45b), we are well within our rights to express our personal experience with Vicky and the Frazzano Team. We will not be bullied, and we will not be silenced.
