We LOVE John Caraker! He was for us! At no point did we see him check his watch for the next appointment, or 'check the meter' to try to charge us more. In the end, most bankruptcy attorneys are roughly the same cost, but Caraker gives it to your straight from the beginning - no hidden costs, no last minute surprises. Also - he seems to actually GET that you're broke! I'm amazed how many bankruptcy attorneys just don't understand that we don't have a lot of money! He never acted judge-y about our past bad decisions, and he made us feel at ease with the whole process, which is saying a lot for such a stressful thing. (PS: Don't let the address fool you - it's a really nice office in a nice part of town.) Thanks John!

A good lawyer and also a great person…read more I hired Besserman Law office after I had my last lawyer left me at the last-minute right before trial. I read reviews and had a few consultations and felt like this Law office was right for me. Right away she had an uphill fight on her hands and she was more than up to the challenge. She worked relentlessly to get caught up and to try and turn things around. Within no time, she was caught up and helping me answer questions I had had from the start. She was always a straight shooter and never sugarcoated things. She always kept me involved in what she and I needed to do to move things ahead. Mostly she always made sure I understood what was going on since this was my first time in court ever. In the end, she ended a 1 year battle in about 2 months of her working on it. In doing so she went above and beyond what I expected. She never backed down even with the odds against her. Most importantly she tried to put the kids in this case first and not her pocket book. Doing things in the fastest way she could and in the best quality she could. Finally, she will always come highly recommended by me and people in my family that had to hear my stories. I can only hope that she will always be my go-to lawyer if I ever need to go back for anything else. I am truly Grateful for all she has done for me and I could not have wished for a better lawyer.

They charge more than five times what a single attorney would. Then continuously ask for MORE money during the years on bankruptcy. It is near the end of my brothers bankruptcy, and she has NO answers for him. She doesn't know when his last payment is ( even though she previously told him it was May 25) . She is the only one who can stop the garnishments, yet doesn't have this information !?? I could go on... I would not recommend this office if you are assigned Brown. This entire experience has been a nightmare for my brother.

The services I (and a family member) received from this agency was excellent. I initially…read morerecommended a family member go to The Law Offices of Tracy Brown to seek advice about a personal matter after the family member had researched and met with other attorneys and was not satisfied. While I did not know Attorney Brown personally, I was familiar with her through my former place of employment and she was very well liked by students, as evidenced by the end of their semester evaluations. The family member took my advice and went to her office, talked to one of her attorneys on staff and immediately hired them. The family member told me that they were VERY pleased with the service, and efficiency of the entire client/attorney encounter and process. As for me, a year later I found that I too would need legal assistance, and I went directly to the Law Offices of Tracy A. Brown without hesitation. I was fortunate to have Attorney Brown personally handle my case, which I did not expect. I went into her office a nervous wreck and left feeling like a weight was lifted and that I knew I had made the RIGHT choice. I am here to tell you, she stayed on my case from day one (1), kept me abreast of everything she was doing; i.e, researching, receiving, calls, and was prompt on my paperwork and followups. Whenever I was in a panic mode upon receiving disturbing news, I would contact her and she would quickly quell my fears and once told me "not to worry, that this is what she is here for, and I could ALWAYS call her, email her or stop by and that I was free to contact her anytime I needed to"....now that is what I am talking about a great attorney! She NEVER made be feel like I was bothering her. If I emailed her or dropped something off, I would have a response back immediately the next day. In my interactions with Attorney Brown, I found her to be very calming, pleasant, patient, understanding and showed genuine concern and compassion for me -- she NEVER treated me as a $$$ or a burden, and she listened to me and gave me good advice on how to handle situations during that time and in the future. I wish to thank her for all that she has done to bring me to a point where I can live my life without a burden that weighed heavy on me for a very long time. Thank you Attorney Brown, in my opinion, you are the BEST!!!!. Also, I was always treated well by the staff whenever I came in contact with them. I "HIGHLY" RECOMMEND HER FIRM if you are looking for great service, support and knowledgeable attorneys.
