We filled those out and all seemed well at first. I apparently called too many times and left five messages with no one returning my call regarding any progress. My siblings were curious if we even had a case so after leaving yet another message with their call service this morning, Chris Wright himself calls to offer his condolences as my father just passed and to convey that he too had his father pass due to circumstances at a nursing facility...what I can only assume he meant as a 'bonding' type statement. However, after telling me his not-so-similar story he proceeded to terminate our relationship as I had written an all caps letter to him directly stating that we didn't appreciate being back burnered. No swearing - just sheer frustration. It was then he informed us that just to receive medical records it takes 120-150 days. A FACT he never once bothered to convey. But for the record if you were considering this firm for your lawsuit, I recommend shopping around as my father passed within the last two weeks and he actually called to fire us but felt the need to bond with me in sharing his late father's demise first. Who does that?!?! Talk about a low-life, underhanded, mercenary tactic. Great for the courtroom - not for the client. And to add insult to injury he actually used the phrase that I was hostile in my email while he was doing me a 'favor' and not charging me. 98% of all lawyers market with, and Page Law does as well, that the 'first consultation is free'. So he also considers his job doing you a personal favor. Chris Wright I would consider lower than the ER doctor that let my dad's brain swell for three hours as the ER doctor was most likely busy and may have had an excuse but Chris Wright of Page Law firm just wanted to be unkind and nasty. If you wish to fire me, fire me as a client but don't attempt to bond with me before you fire me with your sad tale of your late father. What a lowlife tactic by a...you fill in the blank. We couldn't have been more proud to walk in the trial with her as a lawyer! It took years and hard work for her to get there and it showed. Experience is necessary in any family situation ,especially this one, that ends up going to court let alone trial! She was always taking notes and always listening with compassion for what we were going through as a child's guardian. A child's life was needing her and us. We needed an expert to present our case and why we wanted to just go to trial. Trial was not fun! It was exhausting and time consuming but it was real and we had th evidence. She then had the facts and she presented them. She represented us and gave us a chance to be who we are as people. We are compassionate about what we are doing and we are caring people that are giving a child a chance and she represented us in a way it was heard. In the end the judgement was in our favor. Guardians, in a very tough situation, is hard but we knew we needed a strong lawyer to protect a child's life and we got it! We know if we need her again she will help us again! Thank you Meg and I would write reviews everywhere to let people know how happy we were to be represented by you and your law firm. Ms. Margaret A. Boudreau Growe Eisen Karlen Eilerts,LLC. Thomas is a very capable lawyer with a good heart. I owe him this review to express my gratitude…read moreand respect for him. Before meeting Thomas, to defend a false allegation, I have hired an expensive lawyer from a famous family law firm in Clayton whose intention towards everything turned out to be mostly greed. As a poor student, I was charged an unreasonable high price and hardly anything was solved. From various details (such as trying to create unnecessary fear after things turned sour; communicating with the lawyer on the other side not hoping to resolve conflicts but prolonging them), I can tell I was seen like a "wallet", a "business". She did not break any law, but it is clear she's better at exploiting her clients than helping them. I turned to Thomas after realizing the above. The fee I paid to Thomas is ¼ of what I paid to the lawyer in Clayton. But the amount of help I received from him is 10 times as much. It is unbelievable. During my work with Thomas for nearly a year. He has been consistently taking care of my trouble just like he is helping one of his close friends. He patiently waits for the best opportunity to alleviate the conflict and utilizes his rich experience and connection to the best extent. Now, thanks to Thomas, the false allegation has fallen apart like a little joke. I am very grateful for him and this result. I am aware this review could come across as cheesy, but I tell you why: This is the reality. The difference between a capable lawyer with a good heart and a clever but exploitive lawyer is ridiculously huge. If you have experienced both, you will laugh. My advice, to people who are undergoing legal issue they do not deserve: Go to Thomas, he is a capable good guy.

Disappointing Experience with Guardian ad Litem - Would Not Recommend…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Mr. David Betz as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for child custody cases. The role of a GAL is to represent the best interests of the child, ensuring that custody and visitation decisions prioritize the child's welfare. Unfortunately, my experience with Mr. Betz did not reflect this responsibility. First, I was concerned about potential bias when I discovered that Mr. Betz was highly enthusiastic about a private school my daughter's father had enrolled her in--without my involvement in the process. After meeting with him, I found that Mr. Betz himself was an alumnus of that school. This raised red flags about his impartiality. While I understand the importance of education in a custody case, his apparent favoritism toward one parent due to this connection was troubling. Furthermore, Mr. Betz's handling of the case itself was less than thorough. He suggested to the judge that my ex should be granted sole legal custody based primarily on the private school choice. Thankfully, the judge did not follow this recommendation, but it was a concerning moment, especially given the lack of substantial evidence supporting such a drastic decision. Additionally, the fees charged by Mr. Betz were exorbitant. Between my ex and me, we were expected to pay over $5,000, yet his involvement in the case was minimal. I had perhaps one hour of phone conversation with him, and I don't believe he spent much time communicating with my ex either. We met in his office once with my lawyer present and he didn't seem to care about anything presented. Mr. Betz attended court only three times and never conducted a home visit or spoke with my daughter. In fact, he didn't even meet my child in person. To say that Mr. Betz's lack of engagement with the case was frustrating would be an understatement. He seemed irritated at times and offered very little insight or support during this difficult process. His services, in my opinion, were a poor investment, as they didn't serve the best interests of my daughter or our family. If you're seeking a Guardian ad Litem who is genuinely invested in your child's welfare and will provide thorough, impartial support, I would strongly suggest considering other options. Unfortunately, I do not believe Mr. Betz's involvement was helpful or fair in our case, and I can only hope that in future court proceedings, he will not be assigned to our case again.
