I replied that I did want the driveway cleared. Shortly after the snow/sleet stopped, I received a text message that they were on the way. About 5 minutes later, the crew arrived and did a fantastic job of clearing our driveway and front path. They even salted where necessary. I made it clear that I had a lot of large, heavy furniture and I also told them the sizes of the two storage units that I wanted emptied and brought to my new house. I specifically asked if it would all fit and if they would make multiple trips. I was quoted a price for six hours including tax. They did bring most of the large, heavy stuff but took NONE of the boxes. Now I am left to empty half of a 10x25 unit in MANY trips in my car. Not only that, but one of the movers spent a lot of time trying to get out a splinter (using tweezers that I offered) and using the bathroom and the other guy stood around waiting for him. This caused me to be charged for an extra hour. I'm grateful for what they did, but it wasn't as much as I was expecting. I'm older and on a limited budget so I went with the lower priced option because she said they would handle it, but they didn't and now my arthritic knees and back are paying for it.
