I did a lot of research and Hang'em Hi came 'highly' recommended by our real estate agent and some of their other clients. I'm sure glad we listened to them! I was lucky enough to deal with James, the owner. He did an all around fantastic job. He was timely, courteous, and paid very close attention to detail. I really appreciated his insistence on keeping everything very clean and doing the job 'how he would want it done in his home' as he put it. The prices were more than reasonable and the work was done quickly and efficiently. James was professional, genuine, and friendly. Rest assured that Hang'em Hi will do an awesome job for whatever you're looking to get done.

They were most professional all along the process, from estimate to clean-up. Reasonably Priced, On Time, Fast, and Thorough. Though I've used other painting companies in the past who did a good job, I could tell the difference in quality of work from Southern. I'm no expert, but you could just look at the detail in the work (ala the fine lines) to see the distinction. Rooms were transformed. Highly recommended. Bob and Kathy

I'm just sorry we ever stopped because our yard became so bad between the weekly lawn service we hired and the yearly maintenance (grub control, pre and post emergent applications, all that stuff for several hundred dollars a year), by the time I begged Chris to come back, half of the front yard was dead and had to be replaced. Fortunately, not only does C&B provide weekly yard maintenance of cutting, edging, trimming, they also provide the yearly maintenance, seasonal plantings and trimmings. I would highly recommend C&B for any and all lawn maintenance. Now, I just wish they would visit Wimberley once a month so I could have the same service. (My fault ... I moved. They didn't!) Thanks, Chris! (I'm very stingy with my stars so this 5-star rating is huge for me. They are worth it)

TL;DR: Selecting an alternative provider is strongly recommended. This company is capable of…read moreproducing a quality floor, but after payment, professionalism and accountability become inconsistent. Achieving an acceptable result required repeated escalation, persistence, and tolerance for unprofessional conduct. The final product does not justify the experience. It is possible to obtain a good-quality floor from this company. However, doing so requires an extraordinary amount of persistence, conflict, and escalation. Customers should be prepared for prolonged disputes with multiple levels of staff. Direct communication with senior leadership appears difficult or nonexistent. Given the number of comparable providers in the DFW area, I would strongly recommend considering alternatives. My first experience with this company involved coating two residential garage floors. During that project, I had no interaction with the installation crew and no issues with the workmanship. Unfortunately, my dealings with the salesperson were problematic. While initially personable, his communication quickly became condescending and dismissive. Any attempt at discussion was met with one-upmanship or deflection, and once payment was made, he demonstrated little to no interest in supporting the project further. Because we were not present during installation, the salesperson was my only point of contact. When I needed to reach the installation crew, I contacted him repeatedly. When he eventually responded, he stated that it was not his problem and that I would need to resolve it myself. Approximately six months later, after constructing a 30' x 40' shop, I chose to use this company again based solely on the quality of the earlier garage floors. I accepted that working with the same salesperson would be unpleasant but expected the product to justify it. That expectation was not met. At the time of the shop installation, the roll-up doors had not yet been delivered. I informed the salesperson and was explicitly told this would not be an issue and that installation could proceed without the doors. When the crew arrived, the installation manager spoke with me at length about the process. At no point did he express concern or reluctance about proceeding without doors. In fact, he suggested the project might be completed ahead of schedule. During installation, the crew built a temporary barrier in front of the door openings. The manager asked permission to use an old pallet on the property, which I approved. Later, I discovered that plywood panels intended to become the shop's bathroom walls had been taken and used as part of the barrier, with screws driven through them, without my knowledge or consent. While the physical damage was minor, the decision itself reflected poor judgment and professionalism. When the job was complete, a crew member informed me that the barrier materials would be removed and that I would need to find an alternative. I explained that no such arrangement had been discussed. He then stated that I could keep the wood for a few days and that he would return to retrieve it, referring to the walls of my bathroom. After the curing process, I found that the entire shop floor was covered with air bubbles ranging from less than an inch to approximately eight inches in diameter. Once again, the salesperson was my only contact. When notified, he stated the company might address the issue or might not. He said someone should contact me in a few days. Obtaining even this minimal information required repeated effort. When the installation team eventually inspected the floor, the defect was acknowledged and a repair was scheduled. At that point, the installation manager stated the failure was my fault due to the absence of doors, despite previously indicating no such concern. Although he later abandoned that explanation, responsibility continued to be deflected in all subsequent interactions. On the scheduled repair date, colder temperatures (higher air pressure) temporarily suppressed the bubbles. I was told the issue had resolved itself. I explained the temperature-dependent nature of the problem, but was advised either to wait until warmer weather to pursue a warranty claim or to accept the floor as-is. As expected, the bubbles returned when temperatures rose. After further documentation and escalation, the floor was ultimately redone correctly. This required removing all shop equipment multiple times and enduring repeated verbal hostility from staff, including raised voices and continued attempts to assign blame. In summary, while this company is capable of producing a quality floor, obtaining that result involved unnecessary conflict, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. Customers should carefully consider whether the product is worth the process required to obtain it.
