Have you ever gone to a "deep tissue massage" and thought it wasn't quite enough?? Typically, when…read moreI am getting a message, if the masseuse can't feel my organs, it's not hard enough. Cue Pain Away. This place was a wild 30 minute ride. I went in for neck pain after a colleague at the gym recommended it. I walked in and the only words exchanged were "how long?" "30 minutes" I reply. A woman spawned from nowhere and guided me to a room where she signaled to get undressed. I did so, laid down, and the massage begun. This woman came back in and I was tense for the next 30 minutes. She put her whole backbone into this massage. I was in a constant state of pain, letting out squeals here and there. Nevertheless, she persisted. At the end of the 30 minutes, she stopped as abruptly as she started. Sweet relief. I walked out to pay and she handed me water. It was nice. I waited until the next day to write this review because my neck truly does feel a LOT better. So, Pain Away did its job, and I would certainly come back!

I will say that if you read the reviews of the massage... you were warned…read more Regarding the scalp massage- it was torture. Absolutely awful. Scratching with fingernails as hard as she could. They used some scalp torture instrument. I had to ask her to stop. The end couldn't come soon enough. It is a gift that keeps giving.... I had SO MUCH hair loss from the hair pulling, scraping, scratching, etc. If you get one... it's on you.

As a trauma survivor, though, I was NOT looking forward to it, as I'm highly sensitive to touch and it produces a lot of anxiety. Needless to say, I've never been to a massage therapist before. Ellie was FANTASTIC! She walked me through the whole process, is obviously extremely knowledgeable, and gave very thorough instructions about the process going forward. (And today, my leg feels great!) I'll be returning!

I've always had lower back pains since who knew when. lol. Hate it. If I could magically wish it away, I would. Ok, back to getting the massage. Sue, turned on some relaxing music, put on some massage oils and I was already in relax mode. Then the touching started. lol. I was having my OMG moment. She used just the right amount of pressure to relieve all of my so stressed-out spots. I didn't have to say a thing. To top that off, she stretched out my legs, arms, shoulders, etc. What a huge difference that made. Can I scream "LOVED IT!" I could totally get a massage once a week. Let's see if I can get an appointment for my next massage a.s.a.p. Trust me she is all that and a bag of chip. lol.
