The dog lost most of his coat and rough due to "shaping", the feathers on his front legs were cut off completely and the scissor work was gapped and not blended well. When I called to discuss the issue, she did offer for me to bring him in a second time to "fix it", but I was not willing to risk it based on my first experience.

Our normal boarding place was booked due to the last minute booking attempt (funeral). So we decided to travel the 2h with Winston and just board him in Ashland. We decided on TinWoof inn, the Google reviews seemed promising. When we arrived the staff was incredible, super nice and the facility looked so promising. It looked like it would be a fun little vacation spot for my chunky guy. I dropped him off with such confidence. I chose to pick him up on a Sunday. They are closed for a short period of time on Sunday, this is weird, but it wasn't a problem with our schedule to get him Sunday morning before they closed. So no real issue with it, but I did think it was weird. Who's with the dogs during this time? Maybe not someone capable of dealing with the public, idk. So I picked up Winston Sunday morning. On my paperwork, they someone how had me down for a pm pick up, so it doesn't seem like they were prepared for me to get him so early. When I got him the poor guy was covered in pee and his behind was dirty with poop. I didint mention it because, what am I going to do, wait for a bath. They gave me his food that i brought and on the bowl they marked "1 cup 2x day". I asked how that could be when I wrote on the Intake forms in 2 different places "1 cup 3x a day". I mentioned he's a 45lb dog and he's on the Royal canine diet that is 3 cups a day. I expressed how let down I was with this and the employee said "I have a 50 lb dog and I only give him 2 cups and I don't follow the feeding charts on the bag personally." I said "well, I do" and she said "we didint starve him we gave him lots of treats" lol I then mentioned that I put on the intake forms to not give him anything extra. As with majority of English bulldogs they have weird stomachs and I didint want to drive 2 hours home with him with an upset stomach. I mentioned this and she said " oh if you said no treats we didint give him treats" ...they apologized... I paid the 82 bucks for ~2 days and got out of there. I'm not 100% sure I'd come back.

Today is WEDNESDAY! He has done nothing but sleep, drank a BUNCH of water and has had diarrhea! They feed them anything whether you put on the papers not too! I told them this verbally also that he cant eat anything other than his food because this would happen! Its very obvious they dont listen! Also they dont have anyone on Sunday mornings for you to pick up. It has to be Sunday evenings between 3pm and 6pm. They charge you for another full day because of this! Save yourself the hassle! Avoid this place at all cost!!

However, as time went on, I was paying master groomer prices and my dogs were being done by an apprentice and twice I had to take dogs back due to the groom not being complete. The final straw came when I paid $60 for a bath and blow out. That is correct, no grooming whatsoever, just a bath and blowout on a 48 pound dog. Today I used the groomer at my vet's office to "use a 10 blade to clean the face and feet" on an 8 pound poodle. Specific instructions for nothing else, just those 2 things. I picked her up with a scalped head, scalped inner ears and partially scalped outer ears and tail in addition to the 2 things for which I had asked. Found out the groomer is a groomer for Dog and Suds........never again!

He was the 2nd dog being dropped off. When my husband talked to the front desk she couldn't find his name but agreed that she told me to bring him in today. That's was a red flag. I believe they over booked for the day. I texted at 2:00, 3 and 4 to see if he was finished. They finally texted back at 4:15 to tell me he was just now getting on the table. Which meant he had been in a cage since 9:00 am with no food, NO water and no walks. I was texted at 5:00 to let me know he was ready. I would think you would groom the dogs in the order they are dropped off. Mine wasn't groomed until last. When we got him home he pee'd a small amount and it was a very dark yellow. The poor guy was so dehydrated. He then went into the house and drank and drank and drank. In fact he drank so much he threw it all up. These people are supposed to be professionals. They should know better. They should know how to treat animals to keep them safe. They should have had me bring him back later in the day, or even another day when they realized he wasn't on the schedule. But they put their greed over the care and attention of my dog. This is the worst place for grooming in the tristate if you want your fur baby to get the care and attention they deserve.
