You walk in to walls covered in gelatin molds, Not just a few of them. More like hundreds of them. From Mickey Mouse to spiderman, I'm pretty sure they have just about any mold you are looking for. WAIT THERE IS MORE Walk into the next room and from top to bottom on all 4 walls there are even more molds to choose from. Thousands of them. I don't think there was any wall space left ! So the store also sells a small variety of gelatin but not much. They also sell cake boxes of all different sizes, and other things used to decorate gelatin. If you are ever in the area stop by and check out the place. Its pretty interesting. I never knew that there was a market for gelatin.

Every time I walk in, there's something new that catches my eye. It's not your typical gallery. It feels personal, local, and real. Al and Sandy are awesome people. No pressure, just good conversations and a real passion for their craft. The First Friday Art Walks are honestly one of the best things going on in Woodland. Great vibe, good crowd, and you can tell it means something to the community. I've enjoyed it every time. They also host special events including First Friday in downtown Woodland. Today I visited Woodland Sewing & Vacuum Center and was pleasantly surprised. The owner took the time to educate me on all the various brands (and there is a nice assortment of brands) he carries in his store. The experience was top notch and reminded me of the pride, and dedication of what family business offered in times long past. I was able to make a purchase on not just a vacuum, but the right vacuum for my household needs. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is in need of a vacuum.

Pavel got back to us, indicating that the warranty was set to expire in under a week. He did all the footwork to see if we could get a replacement part, as I couldn't find any of the warranty docs. The manufacturer stated that they didn't make those parts any longer. Pavel was able to negotiate an entire replacement before the expiration. Oh my goodness! His customer service skills are awesome. He is trustworthy. We are lucky to have his business and what he brings to our downtown area. We'll be loyal customers!

Shout out for Woodland, CA…read more.. Dream of Jaguars is a one of a kind shop, small business that is located in the heart of downtown Woodland on Main Street. It specializes in Central and South American imports of jewelry, women clothes and accessories, home decor, tablecloths, linen napkins, pillows and much more. Right when I stepped in. It hit the right vibe with me. The merchandise was bright n cheerful ranging from everyday items to whimsical I want. All of it was of quality and priced comparably. The pricing ranged from as low as $5 and upwards. I gravitated towards the brightly colored figurines, blankets, and tablecloths. The tableclothes, napkins, and oven mittens I eyed were made from a Guatemalan women co-op. They use an ancient weaving technique called backstrap weaving. The owner was explaining this to me. As she was explaining, I was critically examining the tablecloth and was impressed. It looked machine created. The quality was superb, these textiles are heirloom quality. Plus the colors and pattern are classic Mayan style which ironically blends to mid century American style. Timeless and classic. The owner is a wonderful woman. Easy to speak with; and the pride and enthusiasm was evident especially when describing the merchandise. Check out the shop when you're in Woodland.
