Parts of this course dates back to the 20's. They have a very large clubhouse with food and drink as well as a nice practice driving and putting areas. We waited for 15 minutes at the start as there was lots of congestion due to it being busy. When it was finally our groups turn to go, each for of us took a turn and while we took our turns a group of men behind us yelled insults/complaints at us (I.e. telling us to get off the course, ask for our money back, hurry up) which was extremely distracting and made it hard for all of us to golf. I eventually told the man that we also had to wait and he needed to not criticize us as he could see some of us were new to the game. Once all 4 of us finished, we continued along. This group of men (8 men) left and apparently asked for a rain check because we were "holding up the course" when in reality the course was extremely busy and everyone had to wait at the start. The general manager came to us and yelled at us because we "caused" these men to leave. I felt the general manager, Ty, was extremely rude and disrespectful. I also feel as if we were being discriminated against because we were the only women on the course at the time. I'd recommend this course not be supported as it is not an inclusive space for all levels and some of the regulars seem to be very belligerent.

Explained to them, we saw a video of 8 guys doing a scramble at the course, and would like to book accordingly to be able to have this happen. The gentleman asked me to book 9 players (3 tee times), and that they would love to have us. On hole one, after paying nearly $80 a player 30 minutes prior to tee time, we were told we would have to split up into groups of 4. Though it was not what was communicated we followed instruction to play in groups of 4. Sending one guy who we paid for home for the day on hole one. ($80 wasted) We informed the marshals on what was going on, came to an agreement, and also informed them that any party having difficulties playing at the pace they would like that we would happily allow them to play through. After 16 holes finished the marshals asked us to leave the course due to pace of play not allowing us to finish the course. (Tee times 8:30-8:50) kick off time (12:50). This experience was by far the worst I have ever had by any golf course. If you are not from Edmond, OK then do not think you are apart of the club!

The Trackman devices they have in each bay helps serious golfers track things like spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, etc. These numbers will help you develop your game and make the right club choice once out on the course. Stan & his staff are great! I started going to Stan to help improve my golf game overall but mainly…read moremy "banana slice" that would come and go. He has helped tremendously with that and getting me to make better contact with my irons. What is great about Stan, he is a no bs type of coach. I don't mean a jerk either. He just does exactly what you pay him for. Cuts out the bs and goes straight to your faults and corrects them. He focuses and teaches permanent fixes. You also get to hit outside and see the ball flight just as you would on a golf course. Stan is also well respected as a fitter for clubs too. I respect the fact that i was all in for dropping $$$ to get fitter for custom clubs. He could've easily took my money, but he said "let's get you swinging better first, you may end up liking your clubs better". Gotta respect that. You can tell he really loves the sport and will invest hhis time and knowledge to help someone that has the willingness to learn. Do yourself a favor and take a lesson and see for yourself.
