He permitted me to have sessions with him via long distance, and we've already met for several long distances sessions, via the phone, since I recently reached out to him. Dr. Shuy is truly one of the most gifted and knowledgeable Psychologists that I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. Dr. Shuy has helped me so very much in life throughout the years, and now again, he has helped me, substantially so, just in the few sessions that we've recently had.

Then 2020 cokes and I can't get any paperwork that I need because Dr Mirsajadi was OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY DURING A PANDEMIC. Also later that year when I attempted to make an appointment, the Dr apparently dropped all his patients and would be reviewing them Flash to this year even the office staff is dogshit. My new psychiatrist sent over paperwork for my records, it's been 2 weeks and these fuckers LOST the paperwork my new Dr faxed over, kid on the phone said she'd have her supervisor call me, it's been a week since that and no call. This place shouldn't be in business.

The group members, leader and curriculum helped me understand so much about my family dynamics and how the abuse was allowed to continue for a decade. I have fewer nightmares. I have developed the courage to distance myself from certain family members, to set boundaries and enforce them, to release feelings of shame and guilt I'd been carrying (unknowingly) since age 4 or so. The process took a lot of work, time and heartache, but I am much happier now than I've ever been. I have an indescribable sense of freedom now that I've released the feeling of 'owing' people for allowing me to live. During the time I was attending classes here, I was also heavily involved with Codependents Anonymous. I highly recommend that group in tandem.

A complete lack of a systematic approach to finding the core issues and addressing them.. Jessica is very intelligent and knowledgeable but also just lacks the depth for maybe somebody needing deeper help.. or maybe just was a bad fit for me.. made me feel it would take hundreds of hours to get past the generalizations and actually get to know and help anybody with that method.. I need a systematic approach to get things done fast and efficiently and it was not happening here.. lots of money spent and no help to speak of... had to ask her over the phone later what my diagnosis even was..I was never really told we just tossed things around... felt like she was asking me if I had things and I felt that was a bit backwards..basically lack of structure and lack of sticking to goals we made..all members said it wasn't good care.. not just me
