I can't say enough positive things about this campground, now that I experienced it in all it's glory during summer months when the pool was open. I've been coming here since 2016, however was never able to secure a spot during the coveted summer months. Sites book up fast here, (summer 2022 is almost totally booked as of the first week of June 2021!!) So if you're able to get a spot - go! The pool opened before Memorial Day this year which I was grateful for and Mother Nature co-operated which was a huge plus. The staff here is great, especially the live in managers. They're super helpful and concerned with making sure your stay is a memorable one. When we had an issue with our tow vehicle while in their campground they thoughtfully pulled it to our site and offered assistance. An employee even offered to tow it home if we needed him to! What a relief it was to not have to spend the weekend worrying plus their concern felt genuine. Here's some of the highlights for our family: Bingo -it's the BEST of any campground with big payouts and 8 ways to win. Plus they offer specials, tab tickets, and 50/50 - with the proceeds going to charity. I love it even more now that it's been moved from the lodge to the open pavilion. Pool: there's a splash park with at least 6 slides, bucket dumps, sprays, etc for the kids, a kids pool with a swim up snack bar and mushroom, with a walk out feature for the wee little ones, and an adult pool. Lounges, tables, umbrellas, etc are all there so no need to drag a ton to the pool. Activities: crafts for kids in the lodge, special events and hayrides. We were lucky even to be here two weekends recently, one was Pirate weekend, and the other featured an 80's band. The professional pirates (yes, there's people that are in character for a living) really made their presence known throughout the campground and interacting with everyone. The entire theme was geared towards pirates and princesses. My granddaughter's had a blast. The 80's band was awesome and the energy level was family friendly yet fun. We loved it. Best ice cream of any campground too! Misses for us, aside from being hard to book, is the pricing. They are occupancy based, so the price goes up as reservations increase, which makes a site more expensive than a motel room. Also the layout. Walking to the lodge and pond isn't impossible but easier with a golf cart (they rent). I really also dislike that the majority of sites are on the upper, heavily wooded level. I know I'm the odd ball here but I'd rather camp in the open, without trees for safety reasons + I like to be in the center of everything. They don't even deserve 1 star! The office workers have no knowledge of the word "polite"! Such a rude people in the office. This place is considered part of Adventure Bound Camping Resorts. They are a ripoff! Booked reservations way back in beginning of 2022. Their website states "Full Cash refund if cancelled w/30 days prior to arrival." We cancelled on April 12, 2022 @ 10:53 a.m. for reservations on July 28-31of 2022 & were charged a $25 cancellation fee not only for the campsite but also another $25 for the golf cart rental. I can understand one cancellation fee, but not when they advertise full refund. Had to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances, but that is beside the point considering we cancelled well in advance of our planned stay. Contacted Adventure Bound Camping Resorts to discuss this BS from Eagles Peak & was told the website I was looking at had NOTHING to do with them...yet the address for Eagles Peak is an exact match (see screen shot below.) We will NEVER stay at this campground, OR ANY OTHER Adventure Bound campground! Big-time ripoff, and the people in the office are not friendly as described. My family and I just spent 4 days at this campground. The staff was so nice to us and helpful. They escort you to your site, helped us line the camper up. Even made sure we were happy with our site. The campground was clean and the staff was out working everyday and made sure to say hi to everyone. The arcade was clean and fun. They came in and cleaned it twice a day. The pool was clean and the staff was always checking to make sure everyone was having fun. The only down fall was the arcade and mini gold closed at 5pm wished it would of stayed open at least to 8pm. But it didn't ruin our trip. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Multiple rules that were not identified anywhere, understanding the odd situation with COVID-19, were not equally applied, and management's actions were rude and were very inconsistent with all of the other times we've stayed. Great campground. Everyone was friendly. Upon arrival we were escorted to our site and the gentleman helped navigate my husband into our site (this was a huge help and we were so grateful as it was only our second time taking our travel trailer out). Our site was up the mountain, gravel, wooded and spacious. It was a perfect site. The grounds, pool, bathhouses were immaculate. The playground is huge, there is an adult pool, family pool and waterslide pad (geared for all ages--including adults). The rules are strictly enforced and appreciated. I love a campground that doesn't let people run around like maniacs. There is a game room, campground store (you can borrow movies from their mini movie library) and pavilion (for bingo, activities and summer weekend bands). This campground is big, if you're up the mountain you'll want a golf cart, which they rent for $75 (a bit steep IMO). The mini golf needs an overhaul! Very little and junky, especially for $3.50 per adult. Otherwise, everything else was great! read more

Fantastic experience at Eagles Peek campground. It was appreciated that before I even booked and even after the staff were polite and patient with me when I asked questions . Kristy was extremely polite and helpful . Eagles Peek is run by two amazing managers Chris and Diane. They are very nice and they not only take care of their campground but they take good care of their campers . We arrived to a clean smelling cabin. Rachel the lady who cleaned was always funny and polite . There was not one day that did not go by that we did not see someone cleaning or maintaining the campground . When at the pool , the game room , or store it was not only clean and well take care of but the few people we saw were very respectful with social distancing and wearing masks . One time we needed to go get groceries not only did they tell us where to go but actually handed us directions. Came for Labor Day weekend/my birthday with my fiance and his son. Will definitely be going back. Rustic cabins are perfect. Not necessarily tent camping, but you have the luxury of AC, mini fridge for lunchmeats and dogs. Stayed 3 holiday nights for about 240.The bathroom is right across the road, showers, playground, pool, store (very reasonably priced), arcade, pavilion (bingo and such), fishing pond, and mini golf are just a few minutes walking distance down the road. Seems they are lenient on their rules, says drinking alcohol is limited to cabins, however people had beverages at the pool, bingo, etc. As long as you supply your own ash tray you can smoke basically anywhere. I will say, though, the rustic cabins sleep six, but I think with all the stuff you'd have to bring, a family of 3 or 4 is ideal. Everyone from the staff to the other campers were friendly. Nothing too rowdy. A few sites went past the quiet hours, (11:00, very reasonable) but I only noticed when I went outside. Pricing: Bag of ice was under 3.00, mini golf is 2.50 a person, firestarters are 2 for a dollar, proceeds go to a charity. Firewood is about 5.50 a bundle, you'll probably need about 2 bundles for a nights fire. (bring your own if it comes from within 50 miles) T shirts were about 15 for adults, 12 for kids. They have basically everything you would need. Bottom line, this is a great family campground and comes highly recommended. I can't wait to go back. Aside from my pictures I posted, there is also a picnic table to the side, fire ring, and small charcoal grill. read more

Just finishing our first and last trip here. The campground is clean, the slides and pool area are nice. The pool area is not as big as the pictures make it look but during the weekdays it isn't too crowded so it's ok. The sites we stayed in were shaded, a little more narrow than I'm use to but having the shade in July was worth it. There are other sites that are a little more wide. The other reviews mentioning the staff being rude are accurate. We encountered Mike Hardy several times who once told my husband he failed to stop at a stop sign in the golf cart, when my husband asked how it was possible he didn't stop when he actually allowed another cart to cross, at that point the gentleman says well you went too fast...and you went in a path not deemed for golf carts (as I type this I just watched a few more go the same way nothing has been said and there is no signage, there's no mention of this path in their rules) mind you "security" drove all over the campground looking for him to tell him about this he didn't actually pull him over when all of this allegedly happened. So we decided from then on to let our friend drive the golf cart since it was evident the "security" had a problem with my husband. No sooner than 5 min the same man pulled us over and told us "every ass needs as seat." He proceeded to raise his voice from there, scaring the kids who had no idea what was going on . We were carrying 2 small children who cannot sit safely on their own and my.oldest child. We are told since this is our 2nd "violation" we lose the cart. It was the current drivers first warning mind you. Also, I'm not sure telling people infants can't be on laps is a safe idea. We go.to 6 campgrounds or more season we know there are rules and the staff wants to keep folks safe. The manner in which the employee spoke was ridiculous. Also during their trick or treating in July event we saw many many families with lap sitting children. We spoke to management and explained our oldest is partially paralyzed and carrying her back up the hill while carrying a baby would be difficult to see if we could first take them.to our site. Nope. Turn in the golf cart now. It was just not a good way to do business. As I said, we know there are rules we've never had issues elsewhere in the years we've camped. It was very disheartening to have this handled in that manner. The roads are gravel and steep if you use a wheelchair for mobility you will need a golf cart. If you cannot walk long distances depending on where your campsite is you will need one. Sidenote, the golf cart rental costed more than the site for 4 days. I hope in the future if you wish to enforce your rules you will enforce them equally and fairly. It was obvious we were targeted after the first stop. I've contacted the owner via email and haven't heard back. I read other reviews online ans discovered the negative ones all mention rude staff. This cannot be a coincidence. I won't be back, and even though my one little family not returning won't impact them I hope those of you reading this review will decide to go someplace else. read more

My family and I have been Camping for over 40 years and never have we been treated so rudely and dismissively by anyone. We arrived on Saturday to meet up with family and friends that were already there. The manager refused to let us check in even though we were from out of state. We asked for an exemption to policy and he became rude and belligerent. I must say this place has gone straight down hill since his arrival. It's sad to see racism still exists everywhere. Same staff memeber took this guests golf cart and wouldn't allow them to drive their child, who has a physical disability, back to the campground despite them telling the staff memeber it would be very difficult for her to walk back. They refuse to check you need in even 5 minutes before their 3:00 check-in time staging that the "cleaning lady" has to give the ok that the already cleaned cottage is fine. We have camped here for over 20 years. First with the original owners and more currently with the current management group. The place is always clean and there's always lots of kid friendly activities planned. Prices have crept up over the years but it's inline with others but with a lot more amenities. read more

I'd give this campground negative stars if I could. I've never been to a camp site that claims to be kid friendly but the manager of the campground is overly rude and snarky. Your kids will get yelled at for simply having good innocent fun because the manager isn't suited for the job. Every time I saw him he was flustered and irritated and yelling not only at my children and the children in our group but everyone's kids!! The manager condones bullying amongst the children which isn't a safe environment when you're there to spend time and relax with your family. The activities are dangerous, not well coordinated and can easily get you hurt! I used to enjoy my time at eagles peak but unfortunately if they don't get rid of the manager they'll find many families not returning. Chris, you should take a class on how to "manage"! This is a nice campground with good pool facilities. However, their activities are lacking and they charge $20 per person for a visitor even when the pool isn't open! He told me that was for 24 seconds or 24 hours...rude! I asked what that fee was for and was told they have a full list if activities for the day....most cost more money! You're basically paying per person to park your car! There is really not much else to do without the pool. After years of camping there twice per year, for several years, I will never return to any of the Adventure Bound "CORPORATE" Sites. Our annual group tallied 10 full hookup sites and 6 cabins for the Halloween Weekend. After years of reserving the same sites, we arrived to find out our sites were already booked for next year without any prior notification. Was told an email was sent out in May with the new booking procedures. I find it hard to believe that 16 families all missed the mysterious email. Within minutes after arrival, we were hassled to remove the second car from our site (the same site we have always had 2 vehicles on), we still had unpacked bags in the vehicle and a sleeping child. The haunted house was ran by a very rude woman who thought her voice and whistle should overshadow the time put into decorating the haunted house. She continuously shouted orders at the families as we waited in line to enter the paid site. Heaven forbid my child stands next to me in line, rather than single file, while we are 40 people deep in the line. I fully understand growth and change. I am not expecting any favoritism as a return customer of multiple years or due to booking a group of our size. When I questioned the new regulations, I was told it WAS A NEW CORPORATE POLICY AND NOT TO SHOOT THE MESSENGER. To the "Corporate Ownership", unfortunately for you, there are far to many options for camping within Pennsylvania to treat your customers with such disrespect. I just came back from 5 days camping in my camper at Eagles's Peak for the first time and will not be back. The rates are $100 and are supposed to include full hook up. Apparently they don't know the laws of gravity. The sewer was up hill on our site and our neighbor's, Neither of them could be used. It defeats the purpose of bringing my camper. The campground's bath house was clean so we used it. Neighbor complained it was unusable but they said they are.Photo shows bumper is lower than sewer tube. Even if we put it back of the site it would not defy gravity.Ridiculous! The permanents place their camper up on cinder blocks to use theirs. I've never seen such unusable sewer sites. The place is nothing but hills so don't think your kids can bike. There are too many golf carts that go by constantly. The slides are ok. The pool was overcrowded for the size and amount of people staying there. Nothing but rude,obnoxious kids swimming/walking right into you. There is adults only pool but I was there with kids so I couldn't use it. Sure there are activities but involve extra charges. read more

Stay far away from this place. Even after all the poor reviews, friends decided to give them a chance. Well reviews of rude staff were correct. Staff member cussed at them in front of their children and lie about rules that were supposedly broken in order to remove their golf cart. Even when presented with video evidence of the encounter decided to delete reviews from their social media page so negative reviews could not be left. This family was punished for the parents sitting their infant and child with a physical disability in their laps to keep them safe while riding in the golf cart while a friend drove. Security cussed at them and removed the golf cart without allowing the family to take their children back to their site. They were forced to carry both their infant and child who wears leg braces the extremely far distance. Management has decided to side with the employee who down right lied, video proved this family was telling the truth. This family has reached out to the owners of this company so I hope this onsite staff takes this more serious. Taking away a mode of transportation needed for a little girl who suffers through enough is horrible. You try pushing a wheelchair through a campsite for the July trick or treating event. You will never see a dime from my family, I will make sure every single person I come in contact with while on my camping trips and on my social groups will know to stay far away from any campground adventure bound camping owns including their couple Jellystone parks read more
