Never judge a book by its cover. This place surprised me so much. I've lived in the area all my life and never tried this place. The wife and I both went to check out their brunch and WOW. Nothing fancy at all, just home cooked great food. Who ever is in the back cooking up this amazing food is doing an amazing job and with them cooking it will always be shining. The place was clean with style, the bathrooms didn't have a spot of dirt. It really is well taken care of. The service was a little slow at first but the lady was helping a big table of people. I called about 10 days in advance to make reservations for 15. When we got there, they didn't have the reservation and, we had to get our own tables together. To make matters worse, the cook did a terrible job and the food was horrible. We have had good food at the Eagles Crest in the past. Maybe they have a hard time getting someone to work on weekends. Nevertheless, our family gathering was not as good as we hoped for. Even though they didn't charge for some of the meals, it doesn't make up for ruining a family gathering. each time I have come here for lunch it has been very cold. Other diners had jackets and coats draped over their shoulders while eating, and theythe staff was dressed warmly. My dining companion and I each had a salad, and we were very disappointed in the teeny tiny portion. I had a sandwich with one slice of meat in it. When I had this sandwich in the past, it had several slices of meat in it. The food tasted good, but the portions were very disappointing. I second the review 4 months ago. They have the potential to be a prime spot for a Sunday Buffet. We went at 11:45 on a Sunday. They were replacing sternos as we went through the line. Curious if they were two hour sternos as most of the food was cold when we went through. Nice selection of food although we missed bacon. The ONE thing that would have helped would be a nice tented sign with what was in every chafer. Every person I watched had to open every single chafer to see what is in it. This selection of food included eggs, little omelettes, sausages, hashbrowns, cheesy potatoes, 2 other potato sides, ham, there was a meat pasta dish more for the lunch people, beef, blueberry pancakes, waffles, caramel rolls, fruit skewers with a chocolate fountain, bowl of berries and donut holes. We did have to get up and find a waitress after we had sat there for 10 minutes and nobody had come by to see what we wanted for a beverage. She was very nice and apologized profusely. I am a very green person. So I did not appreciate the two Littles straws in my glass of water automatically and the disposable Styrofoam plates on the dessert buffet. My last comment was since when does the tip suggestion at the bottom of the receipt go from 18% to 22%? Especially for a buffet. I had heard a lot of good things, so we went here for a family celebration. The service was great and views were nice, but the food was incredibly disappointing. Given everything I'd heard, I'm not ruling out the possibility that it was a really off night in the kitchen, but I won't be going back to find out. All of the meats (steak, burgers, chicken, salmon) were severely lacking salt/seasoning. But my steak and my son's burger tasted like the grill hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, just that acrid, bitter taste of old char that overwhelmed any other flavor of the meat. And the steak I had ordered medium rare was more like medium well to well. The au gratin potatoes were just diced potatoes in maybe jarred queso? I could get a better steak dinner with better sides at Applebees for at least a few bucks less. read more

Great food and great service! We had a table of 9 and the food came out hot, timely, and delicious. I hate soggy sweet potato fries but these were perfectly crisp! The view of the course is very pleasant! even if you not their for the view, it's easy to get caught looking out side at the frozen lake/pond. read more

very disappointing. internet price is 14 charged 16. service good. buffet brunch. most of the food was barely lukewarm. fried shrimp were hard as a rock and inedible. chicken legs dry and inedible. the omelets were burned and rubbery. no bacon. pancakes and french toast were impossible to get apart, there were olny a few pieces of fried potatoes in the tray and stayed that way for the hour we were there. in fact i dont think anything was replenished during the time we were there. brunch started at 9am and we were there at 1130-1230. there were no salads, and deserts were a joke. cold stale donut holes. caramel rolls ok (tasted partners) but when i went up for the third time to check there was 2 rolls that looked half eaten..i didnt take one. strawberry bowl empty for an hour. cantalope and pineapple down to a few pieces. one other desert with berries, a cake maybe?? this place used to be really good, but not anymore. read more

WOW! This place exceeded my expectations! I met with Paul to plan a Grooms Dinner in the private dining room. He was terrific to work with! I planned a dinner buffet for 40 people which took under 15 minutes. I was a little leery about how everything was going to be since planning time seemed too good to be true. Oh. My. Goodness. I was in shock when I saw how lovely everything was set up! Allow me to mention that the food was EXCELLENT! Our server, JennaLee, was AMAZING! She was so personable! Her hospitality was unmatched. It's been a long time since I have experienced good quality service in the food industry. This speaks volumes of Paul and JennaLee! We came for a buffet and it cost $30 per person. The food supply was low for the large amount of people we had and the waitresses had an attitude. The vegetarian options were not provided, we didn't know what they were until they were placed on the table after asking repeatedly, and they didn't follow the customers orders. People that were at the restaurant that didn't eat still had to pay and if you said that someone was coming but they ended up not, you still had to pay. Overall, VERY bad experience. read more

Not impressed with the food or the service. We had a party of 13 there on Saturday Dec. 10, 2016. Several of us ordered the Prime Rib & Shrimp special and 5 of the steaks were lukewarm at best, two of those five were more on the cold side and sent back. Their method of warming them consisted of cooking them for a couple minutes in the Au jus which meant they came back over cooked. The breaded shrimp were way over fried, with the breading being close to the burnt side. Our waitress really never came back to ask how things were or if we needed anything else. Over all, based on my first experience at this place, I wouldn't recommend it. read more
