Great place to stay, especially if you're traveling on the "gov rate". These are indeed suites,…read morethey have a mini kitchen with a full size dishwasher, microwave and fridge. There is a small couch, desk, dresser, two side table and (of course) the bed. The closet has space for hanging clothes, three half shelf's and a full length shelf across the very top. Amenities are nice; pool, small gym, jacuzzi, and laundry. The hotel has a breakfast buffet each day, and on Monday thru Wednesday they have a social hour with beer, wine, and snacks. The lobby, elevators, common area carpets and walls look great. The staff are incredibly nice and were more than helpful in telling me about places to see and eat at. The room I had was very nice, clean and comfortable. It has a thermostat I could control to make the room more comfortable. If you have a critical eye, the room was showing a little wear. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen and the ceiling in the shower had some slight water damage. The desk chair was shedding its top layer of fabric, and the ottomans had seen their fair share of use. Overall great experience and I would come back again. I love the Amenities offered here to guests, and the staff are very nice.

I've stayed at this Staybridge 11 times in the last year. It's conveniently located to downtown and…read moreacross the street from the Alerus Center. I have no real complaints other than the thin walls. I could hear the next door room snoring incredibly loud. They offer a lot of amenities such as dinner, wine and beer in the evening and breakfast. The breakfast was kinda garbage but it was free. Basically some bagels, fruit, oatmeal and odd omelets. They rotate bacon or sausage every other day. The pool area was nice and it remained open until 11. The hottub was actually hot as well. Overall it's not a bad spot to stay the night. They have kitchenettes in the rooms and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water with good shower pressure. Try to get a top floor room though.

I was skeptical of this place as I have always favored the Hampton Inn next door, but due to some…read moreevent during the course of my stay, they couldn't get me the discounted rate. I chose this hotel as an alternative. I pulled up and this hotel seemed like every other hotel until I walked into the lobby. The setup was quite unique and wasn't sure if there was goinv to be a burlesque show after. There were magenta silk curtains around the dining room and kitchen area. It was quite modern and chic to say the least. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The room is quite large and it was a suite with a pull out couch. There was a divider between the room and the living room which had a work station. The rooms had a TV in the living room but not in the bedroom area, but since it is on a swivel, it can be watched while in bed. It also has a fridge and microwave. One of the best and most important features of this room is the number of outlets. In this day of electronics overload, I had enough outlets to charge my 2 laptops, watch, phone, tablet, etc without having to ration. There were 2 bathrooms per se. One was a commode and sink, while the other was a shower and sink. Both were pretty large. The gym is pretty small as expected, but has 3 machines and free weights along with a pull down bar machine. More than most hotels of this caliber. Breakfast is actually much better than the traditional Continental breakfast with 2 hot items, oatmeal, fruits, toppings like cheese, spinach and salsa and cold cut ham. The best part of breakfast is you can get to eat on real plates and real silverware... what wha?

I'm going to say that this was the hotel of choice for years for me. I was here this week (May…read more2026) and my shower was gross. I beg you to use bleach in shower to get rid of black mold. There is no way a cleaning crew can walk out of my bathroom and say it was ok. I also had black long hair on my bathroom shelves. I'm blonde. I beg you to clean so you continue to get business and not be compared to the road king. Step it up. AND my plastic glasses were not properly wrapped in sealed plastic so Ofcourse they were garbage. Do better! it's not hard. And if people want clean towels bring them. Do not make us bring down Dirty and exchange them. We pay you. It's not a favor. I see these staff people sitting around. Be a hotel not a dorm. Thanks.
