Called in to see if they could replace my engine, they said that my engine shouldn't be the problem and to bring it in for a diagnostic's test. Low and behold, they were right. My experience with Eagle transmission has been great. They have saved me a lot of $$$$. I had my truck at caliber auto care and they said I needed a transmission and transfer case and quoted me $12k. Eagle transmission looked at my truck and said my transmission and transfer case were fine and all that was needed was a rear differential. Saved me thousands of dollars. I can't even begin to explain the issues I've had with this shop, if you'd even consider it to be one. If I could give it negative stars I would. First off, my *Car was transferred from Dads Tool Box, whom which I spoke to the owner Will who diagnosed my problem initially, and then it somehow ended up next door getting worked on without my knowledge. Second: *"mechanics" drive other customers cars to pick up other customers (who weren't wearing masks, I am talking about myself and boyfriend) during a pandemic/ yellow soft Chrysler/ grey Lexus or Ford Focus with baby seat in the back Third: *the first time Arturo was sent to come jump the car from my driveway, (which there are cameras) the day after we were given it back "fixed" initially, he was showing me the terminals of my battery in the trunk with his live wire battery still on and let the positive negative shock together about an inch from my face, very professional. Fourth: *When the battery was last replaced and needed a computer reset, we were given the car back already running behind the shop and drove away and made it to an auto part shop down the road before the car wouldn't start again and when we called Eagle to ask if they reset the battery John the "general manager's" verbatim response was "um uh well we just unplugged it and plugged it back in, I think our computer reset machine isn't working, my "electrical expert" isn't here and told us to take it back to basically a real shop, which it ended up being BMW of Arlington. So a backhanded no, he didn't reset the computer system. When he sent Arturo to come jump the car he put the blame of the blown fuse on the Advance Auto Parts mechanic not knowing what he was doing. Pot calling the kettle black if I've ever seen it. Fifth: *Arturo had to pull the blueprint layout of the car to even find the fuse box(which he never even found), when the NEW signs posted hugely on the front of the store specifically says "works on foreign vehicles" I wouldn't even let them touch my Ford if I had one for an oil change. Sixth: When I went in July 6th for the $90 he told me he'd refund for his computer reset machine not working, he told me "the only reason he's refunding me isn't because they installed the battery wrong, (which I have a certified copy from BMW of Arlington stating they did) but so he won't have to see my face in there anymore" I then asked if he was the owner to which he replied no and asked to speak to the owner to which I was denied and told him to make a note that I'd like to speak with him, which his response was "if I remember" so I'll be calling back every day until his memory problem subsides. Also as I was walking out he told me "good luck getting someone to come jump my car" like that's literally the only thing they could do was get it started, and also almost everyone carries cables, I only called him so his "mechanics" could get paid to come jump me for free, but I doubt I'll be needing a jump what with BMW actually knowing what they're doing on foreign vehicles, but I appreciate his concern although I don't need his "mechanic" to come jump me and potentially electrocute me again. He also didn't want to refund my other money for the other parts of the car he messed up, so I'm now dealing with the bank and actual BMW dealership that I should have done in the first place to get my money back and he then threatened to "have my car towed since he knows where we live" The most unprofessional shop and human I've ever had to deal with, seriously take your car to an actual dealership it'll be worth it in the end, and if you drive a foreign vehicle definitely take it elsewhere because these huge new "works on foreign and domestic vehicles" sign was not there a week ago. read more

Eagle Transmission on RUFE SNOW is the place to go. I had work done for my Ford Explorer and one of the technicians was sloppy and didn't do a couple of tasks properly. When I returned with an issue, the management at Eagle took responsibility and made sure that I was 100% satisfied! Even just after the warranty period, a small part broke that held things together in the shifter and while is was a part defect (not an employee issue), I took it back to Eagle and they took care of it at no extra cost to me! This place is the epitome of "hot mess express." Bob got fired and their new manager admitted to me over the phone that "he was new and had no idea what he was doing." It was quite concerning. I sent my vehicle in for a warranty issue that was difficult to duplicate and when it was towed into the shop, it took them more than a day to even put my vehicle in the system... Warranty work - you know how that goes. If you're expecting for someone to actually listen to your frustrations or problem - GO ELSEWHERE. The manager literally listened to me explain the issue on the phone for 15 minutes while he kept pulling the phone away to talk to his coworkers. Do not use this business. My sister's engine had to be replaced. It was under warranty. The warranty was approved so she left her car at Eagle transmission. They told her that she can pick up car in 1 week, it sat 6 weeks. Every week she called and it was going to be the next Tuesday. He told her that he had 2 mechanics quit and Blah, Blah, Blah. She finally got a rental car. On the 5th week her husband called them and told the warranty company that Eagle will pay for the rental car copay and they agreed. I would give Eagle transmission a ZERO star rating if it were possible. I have given them every chance to do the right thing. After bringing my jeep Cherokee in to have a trans rebuild, I have been in 14 times now to try and get this thing right. I am at my ropes end. I have dealt with 4 different managers, as all have been fired or quit since December. With zero records, I have to explain my situation every time they change managers. I took my car in for a serious oil leak expecting the worst. I just wanted an opposing opinion/estimate before seeing what the dealer was going to want. They pretty quickly figured out via technical service bulletin (TSB) that a dipstick seal was the problem and did not charge me a cent for what I thought could have been the kiss of death my older car. Originally we took our car into the shop because the transmission was slipping. They were very nice, and said they would take a look. We were told they could diagnose after their initial inspection for $400 (pretty standard) and they said they did not replace transmissions because it is more cost effective to rebuild. 7 days later they said they could not rebuild and would need to get a new one from the dealer for $3400. We said no, and then they said it would cost $995 in addition to the $400 to get it back. We decided it would not be in our best interest to pay $1400 just to leave. We got the car back after 10 days total. 18 days later we are driving on the highway and the transmission busts and fluid shoots out and drains all over the freeway, the car won't drive. Luckily, it came with a warranty. They come and tow it, and then blame it on the key fob after taking a look. They are now saying that the computer is registering errors and codes because of the fob and that it caused the car to break down on the highway and that this is a "safety precaution". It has now been 7 days and we have not heard anything. We have called multiple times the past 2 days and have been either placed on hold and hung up on or been told we would be called back, only to never receive a call. This place is a complete scam and is trying to blame their shoddy work and incompetence on something else. We have spoken to multiple other shops in the area as well as our dealer, and they have never heard of the issues that they are describing to us. We are currently working with the dealership to see if they even bought a transmission or if there is more shady behavior going on. The red flags are alarming and numerous. Please beware and take your vehicle somewhere else. read more

Called back at 3:00 and was told they were just getting to it and that it would be done in an hour. At 4:00, I was told that they still hadn't completed the review of the car. At 5:00 They said they would call me back in 10 minutes. At 5:50, they call and tell me that it would cost $425 for them to provide an estimate and that in their 20 years of working on transmissions have never provided an estimate. Do not go here. Dropped my truck off to have transmission sensor, pinion bearings, carrier bearings, rear wheel bearings and seals replaced because the rear end was making noise and i figured while they were there they might as well do it all. After three days, I was told that the ring gear was damaged and it needed to be replaced and the rear main seal on the engine was leaking. I was quoted a price of $2450 for all the work and i agreed and payed in full up front. Over the next three weeks i was given excuse after excuse as to why it was taking so long. Finally when i was told it was done, i went down to the shop only to find that the only thing done to the truck was the rear main seal and they took it next door to Dad's Toolbox to have that done without telling me or asking if i was ok with it. As i left, the rear end was still making the same noise. The next morning, i took it to another shop and they showed me that the other work was never done and i took pictures. I got ripped off by Eagle then had to pay the other shop to do the work Eagle was supposed to do. I will never have Eagle touch my truck ever again. There was much more detail to this review, but i didn't have room for all of it. All this happened between 10-28-19 and 11-14-19. I made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, but Eagle would never contact the BBB back. read more

I have a vehicle from DriveTime and this is a place that is authorized by their extended warranty company SilverRock. They have had my vehicle since October and it is now January. They have put in 3 different transmissions from the warranty company and none of them have shifted correctly. On the third transmission, I am now putting out an error code for the braking system. They are throwing parts on it to try to make it work. I can tell by my gps system that DriveTime puts into their cars of when the car is started and or driven. They have touched the car ONCE since I brought it back almost a month ago. They are dodging my calls and will not return ANY calls and have NEVER made an effort to contact me first. It has always been me making the attempt. I will NOT be going back to this company again and will be talking to the extended warranty company to strip this company from their approved vendors. read more
