I appreciate that Mr Hyder's team came so quickly, but they marked up a new pump 100% over retail, charged 8 hours times 2 people to replace an existing pump (no replumbing or extra work) and the solution failed the next day! He would not answer any emails or return phone calls to find an equitable solution. Then I received a threat to put a lien on my house. Unfair, overpriced and did not fix the problem.

Two days of tearing up my yard, including the roots of trees with machinery in an area where there were no leaks, then left the area with deep ruts and tree roots sticking up in the air. I live in California, and I recently hired Ethical Plumbing to install a water main and sewer…read morelateral line to a house in Taylors. This project was particularly stressful since I was having to arrange everything from several thousand miles away, but they took away all of the stress related to the water and sewer lines. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, Alisa communicated exceptionally well, responding quickly to my phone calls and emails and keeping me informed about each step of the process. Brandon was great as well. He went the extra mile, took initiative and requested that the sewer utility allow us to tie into an existing lateral line near the street. I had no idea that this was even a possibility, but this extra effort on his part saved me around $10k. Dominick and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to get this project finished in spite of the hot weather. The job went smoothly, quickly, and they left our property neat and clean. All three of them were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. On top of all this, Ethical Plumbing was less expensive than the other quote that I received for this project. I can't thank them enough, and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs in the Greenville area.

I was quoted nearly $10,000 for unnecessary pipe replacements, a new water heater, and other "issues" that magically disappeared once I got a second opinion. On top of that, I was quoted almost $900 just to replace the heating element and thermostat alone. Another plumber fixed the entire problem correctly, safely, and professionally for $100. This was not a mistake or a difference of opinion--it felt intentionally misleading and predatory. This kind of pricing and upselling preys on homeowners who don't know better. Get a second opinion immediately if you're quoted anything by this company. In my experience, this crossed the line into scam territory.
