Everyone is friendly and welcoming and Dr. Kevin is very informative. I also really liked how he thanks his staff repeatedly as well as the patients in his care, and the parents for bringing them in an allowing him to treat the patients. Based on my first experience today, I was impressed that he spent quality time with each patient and their parent, he was able to fit us in for sealants rather than make us schedule another appointment. The only issue I had was that the checkout lady gave me a significantly higher price for the sealants than Dr. Kevin mentioned. He specifically mentioned that our insurance covers them, she tried charging me $95. I came home to find my treatment plan and it's only $8. She charged me for fluoride which I think is covered also. But I accepted that even tho I think I was still overcharged for services my insurance covers. We'll see what our EOB says. Office was clean, and I watched them clean after every patient. Definitely happy we chose Alpine Kids for our pediatric dentist.

The surgery was easy and healed so good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and entertaining for children. But that's kinda it.. The dentist himself is a nice guy but in business terms kinda pushy. They insisted my daughter, and I have friend who has a daughter (he's a pediatrician actually) that they cap a baby tooth. My daughters tooth fell out less than a year later. The office staff is unfriendly all the time. I was on Medicaid at one point and they failed to make sure it was covered when I called before the appointment in the first place. So when all was said and done at this appt they billed me right there. No insurance? She said sorry it's not covered I can't do anything about it. I asked if I could possibly do some kind of payment plan and they said we don't do that here. She insisted no dentist offices she's heard of does that with a serious attitude. Which is crazy because growing up my mom made sure we had good care for our teeth at everything else's expense and they always did payment plans. With all the braces, lost retainers, cleanings, how could anyone afford all that, all the time in one lump sums? I think the dentist got word of this case, thankfully, and gave a discount, however it was incredibly small. I didn't need a discount, though appreciated the thought, I needed a payment plan so I could put food on the table! I think she felt a tad remorseful and made a bit of a deal by going and chatting with the manager or the dentist in the back and said we can do half now, half later. That was like $250 right up front still! With a person on Medicaid... I just cant believe there was such little to no compassion. The dentist insisted on a procedure that was deemed fairly unnecessary, even by a pediatrician who a general sense of health of and desire to care for a human body. I'm sorry we looked elsewhere for a pediatric dentist.

My husband switched jobs so our dental insurance changed which left me looking for another new…read moredentist for my family. I got many recommendations for this dental office and figured I'd give them a try. I asked to be scheduled with Dr. Gordon since a family member said he was the best. To my surprise at my appointment I received a different dentist, I don't remember which one it was but he did just fine. I also got another different dentist for my filling the last time I went who was also good. They did my filling in about 30 minutes and offer laughing gas for $15. Their numbing agent worked quickly and wore off within two hours or so which I really liked since I hate half of my face being numb all day long. You are required to wear a mask going into their office then once you are in your chair you can remove it. All the staff is very friendly.

She was funny, laidback and sweet. I will recommend her every single time. Thanks Hannah for the good laughs.* Very very pleseant first experience! My hygienist, Rebeckah, was the sweetest and gentle person. She made me feel very comfortable and heard my concerns genuinely. When I finally met Dr. Gordon at the end of my cleaning, she was also kind and heard my concerns as well. It's very hard for me to trust a brand new dentist whom I barely know, but he made it very easy to trust him (I will update this review after he replaces my fillings...). For a first impression, it was very comfot *Improvements: If I am to bring my kids here for treatment as well, I would love to see more toy options in the kid corner, as well as more child-friendly environment in the treatment areas. Great for teenagers though.

Stonehaven Dental Saratoga Springs…read more They know exactly what they are doing by scheduling three teeth cleanings in a year knowing the insurance CO's will only pay for two. I out of pocketed $180 the day of service. I love my hygienist Sadie. She is tops. I wouldn't have even minded paying the total bill at the time of service. But, It drives me crazy when 30 days later they text you that the insurance co declined my claim. And you owe an additional $82. I would have paid the whole bill at the time. NO PROBLEM. I think they actually prefer being stupid. Because she told me it was over my two cleanings per year. Telling me it's my third in the year. THEY SCHEDULED IT. DA. Even though I went to pony Express dental last fall and they said that I had no cavities stonehaven said I had a cavity that was close to the root and would need a root canal if not addressed immediately and then told me I needed a crown. I didn't know any better and let them do the crown. They also said this for my husband but he knew he needed a crown. It's a dental chop shop. I had to be numbed twice and I still felt them drilling into my tooth. They had my mouth cranked open for almost 2 hours. Then the assistant put on the temporary crown and I kept saying it wasn't right. But finally I was in so much pain that I gave up. It fell off the next day and I went back to have it placed back on the day after. Same assistant and I had to get her to redo it three times and she tried to use the same temporary crown. After it it cracked and I told her that she needed a new one. I was finally in so much pain that I left. Now going to an endodontist to see if this has caused the need for a root canal because it is still searing pain after a week. This dentist office is a scam. And one of the worst parts is that I researched dentist office on Google and they had great Google reviews. Proof that I'll come back to yelp for everything.

I now have a…read moretooth that looks bad and will bug me my whole life unless I go back to have them re-do it, which I'm either going to do or go somewhere else to have done. I had Dr. Dale, who was so impatient! After the initial shaping there was a large chunk of fake tooth scratching me on the back that he couldn't see, and after I had to have him try to file it off 5+ times to no avail he declared "I'd hate to move your furniture!" And by the end, he had totally misshapen the tooth so it doesn't look at all like my other one, is crooked, has an uneven line, and is sharp on one edge where it touches my tongue. But because it was already crooked and too small compared to my other, and he wouldn't stop commenting on how picky I was, I just stopped asking him to fix it. I hoped he was right and I was just being picky but I don't even want to smile any more that's how much it bothers me still. He would never include this tooth in a portfolio of his best work, and that speaks volumes to the kind of dentist that he is. Shouldn't you want your patients to be impressed instead of depressed with your work? Especially a front tooth! Two stars because their office themselves were very accommodating and nice, somehow when I called to schedule they had scheduled me at a different office? But when I showed up at the office I had called, they were able to squeeze me in despite "not having" an appointment.
