We discussed a very large front yard undertaking with him. We wanted a "low grass" front yard concept and I explained to him some general flowers and plants I wanted involved. He put an outdoor landscaping "floor plan" together if you will. We talked things through and after some slight adjustments, we moved forward! He was great to organize and plan with. The issue is the timing of all of the plants and when they would be arriving due to the "zone" we are in. On the day of the project he and his team member arrived bright and early, discussed the plan and drawing once again to make sure we were all on the same page and got to work. Ben handled much of the getting rid of the grass and having level and even dirt. We had him bury a pipe regarding our excess water pump so that it was clean and underground and to the sidewalk. Then all of the plants were put into place and everything was covered with mulch. We even had him take out some large bushes that were in the back yard as part of the project while he was here. He was great to work with, had awesome follow up and always explained why something was happening. In his profession there obviously are some weather dependencies, so he was always good about keeping us informed if something had to slightly shift in the schedule.

Christopher and his team are clearly experts with older homes like ours and they do a phenomenal job, very detail oriented and focused on perfection. Their services are well worth it if you want the job done right! Our dining room was originally natural wood with a deep red color, which we wanted painted white to brighten up the space. The person who we hired to paint it white previously did not use the proper materials, which ended in many layers of unnecessary paint and he didn't fill in all the gaps and holes that show up when painting natural wood white, so it looked very poorly done. The original painter also didn't know what to do with the radiator that was also dark red, so it turned out completely blotchy. Christopher's team came in and had the botched paint job sanded down, the holes/cracks filled and the space prepared for spraying in just a half day. It was remarkable how much better it looked after just a few hours. When they were done after two days, it was impeccable. They came back a week later to get all the hardware reinstalled and put it all back in working order. Some additional adjustments had to be made for the built in, which they made sure were done well for proper use. They also were able to squeeze us in as quickly as possible during rain days that they couldn't do their outside jobs, which we were very grateful for given the lost time of the original job. Michael was extremely attentive, quick to take the project on, paid very close attention to detail, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The overall professionalism and communication from him, and the team members he brought on, was very appreciated. We were kind of in a rush to get our basement renovations rolling, so as soon as we finished the framing and insulating ourselves, we inquired with Patch Boys to come in for a full drywall install and finish. Within a day or two Michael came by to assess the entire layout, inquire about details, and discuss what the process would look like. We heard back from him a few days later with a very well laid-out quote that included descriptions of each step/phase. He answered my additional questions and we were happy with the pricing, so as soon as we paid the deposit they set up a date to begin. From start to finish it was just about two weeks for the ~1500 sq/ft project. The team was very thoughtful about any mess coming in and out of our home, always sure to properly cover and prepare everything. This job is quite the mess, especially when it came to the heavy amount of sanding required for the smooth texture towards the end. It was great to see their care in the clean up. (Note however, that this dust really travels around so you'll likely have to do some additional cleaning of your own in other areas of the home, as we did).
