By far the best pub in narberth. Its totally honest, and acceptant of everyone. Theres no looks as you walk in, and you soon feel right at home. Its mainly full of locals, of all ages, and styles. The landlord is fairly young and easy to get on with. Its trade mark were the walls ata one half were covered in posters, these were great as they really tell stories, what films were out at the time etc. The jukebox is fantastic, all the cd's are amazing, with something for everyone, but all to get you going. There is a pool table, and must be the cheapest in the land, at only 20p still!!!! there is an outdoor area with heaters since the smoking ban, and a little corner cocktail bar which is usual in use during the summer parties! its a great place that has live bands from time to time, with dj sets and private parties for birthdays etc. the halloween parties are something to remember for sure also! it also has a new but retro table top space invaders game!!! brilliant! The Eagle is a popular small local pub with no airs or graces which is frequented by old and young alike. It had a bit of a facelift recently and had a new bar fitted and the toilets were upgraded. But basically it is the same pub with the famous posters on the walls. The place is buzzing on carnival nights in both the summer and winter. The pool table is always popular because it is so cheap! There are occasional DJ nights when a local DJ plays a few sets. There are outside heaters and a canopy for the smokers and an outside cocktail bar which is used occasionally in the warmer months. read more
