I needed two pairs of jeans shortened/hemmed. I asked if they do alterations and they said they did. They told me it would be about a week. I foolishly failed to ask what the price would be. I called a week later and was told that the tailor had only picked them up the day before so it would be about a week more. They do not "do" alterations. I told them that was traveling soon and would like to pick my jeans up asap, finished or not. After another call, I was texted that the jeans were ready to be picked up. The bill was $51. I guess that included an annoying customer tax. A quick Google search indicated the average cost to hem jeans in our area is $16. They may be expert at dry cleaning, I can't say, but in the future I will look elsewhere for alterations. read more

highly recommend Thank you for being so kind ! I called and spoke with the owner Buddy about cleaning a wedding dress to donate to Tiny Angel Gowns. With no hesitation, he said he could do it at no charge. If you want outstanding service, please go to Eagle Cleaners. read more

I'm sure this place is great for modern clothing but I wouldn't recommend for any vintage clothing. I had no luck unfortunately with items coming back ripped or missing buttons. Still on the hunt for a good place!! read more

Don't bring your clothes here... this place is terrible... they ruined a few shirts and a jacket of mine and have often done my clothes incorrectly... the staff is not accommodating when they screw up... they don't care as long as they take your money... I ask them not to put a crease in my pants when pressing them but they did this repeatedly... I was going here b/c it was close to my work but have since switched over to Summit Cleaners down the road. Don't waste you time here... read more

Very friendly and helpful! I had to send out to have my boots re-soled. They have small town charm, right in clarks summit.

Everybody does business differently. The businesses I like to deal with keep the interest of the customer in mind. Unfortunately, I have had two experiences here that definitely contradict that philosophy. On one occasion I brought in dry cleaning and shirts for the .99 cent shirt offer - instead they applied a dry cleaning coupon without explaining it voided the .99 cent offer. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't apply the best offer they had available for their customer. My second experience was when I recently sent my child in with some dry cleaning and shirts for the .99 cent offer ( with $17 dry cleaning) - apparently my dry cleaning was $1.09 short and so I was charged more that double for all the shirts. I had instructed my son to ask if we had enough dry cleaning but according to Eagle he did not? Either way I feel a business should in seeing this disparity at least say at drop off - if you have one more dry cleaning item you would be eligible for our shirt discount. Then you could decide if you want to go forego the offer or simply add more dry cleaning. I paid for 17 shirts at $2.35 each. Plus my 2 pair of pants dry cleaned for $15.91. Maybe my idea of good business practice is outdated. This isn't a good fit for me. read more

I've been using them for 10 plus years. Very nice staff and they keep my wife happy with coupons. Usually items are ready early and they always take the time to make sure you are happy. What else can I say other than very satisfied and would definitely recommend. read more

As opposed to the other reviews on here, I have never had a problem at this dry cleaners. My clothes have always been done within a day or two and I've never had any complaints with quality. The staff have always been friendly and attentive when I come in, and I often get coupons and discounts in the mail which is nice. One time when they didn't see my dress right away on the rack they even offered to deliver it to my house if I needed to get going. I've never heard of any other cleaner offering to do this. They found my dress within a few minutes though so I didn't need them to deliver it to me. Overall I think they are friendly and good at what they do. No complaints from me. read more

Do NOT go there. On two occasions they lost expensive articles of clothing and denied ever having them. There were belligerent and arrogant and refused responsibility. Worst cleaner in Clark's Summit. read more

Oh yeah, Eagle Cleaners in Clarks Summit PA is "just about as good as it gets." The service is always friendly from the staff, the turn around time is prompt, the appearance of the clothes is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Yep, I love Eagle Cleaners! read more

Great service. It refreshing to see a local business put in such great work! Friendly staff. They always remember customers by name!

I am not in the habit about getting excited over dry-cleaning, but Eagle Cleaners gives you that "woohoo" feeling! Computerized clothing drop-offs (they found my clothing without my slip in seconds!). I receive an Email when my clothing if ready..no more guessing and wasted stops. My husband's shirts are white and crisp every time. Love the coupons too! All this is enough to get put a skip in your step, but it's actually the EXCEPTIONAL customer service that I receive at every visit. The friendly "hello". The big smiles that let you know that they are genuinely happy to see you. Their ability to "give back" to their community puts them "head and shoulders" over the rest. I will never go anywhere else!...:}} read more

My experience over the last 3 years has always been positive. They are extremely conscientious and friendly. My father was a dry cleaner foe 40 years and I know this profession is easy to criticize. I am very satisfied! read more

Horrible! I called today after receiving a coupon in the mail to get a suit cleaned. The girl on the phone was EXTREMELY rude. She told me that they could not give out prices over the phone, yet they sent out mass mailings to local residents with the prices printed on the coupon. I have only heard bad stories about this cleaners so I was already hesitant. After the rude customer service I received, I gladly spent 5 more dollars at Summit Cleaners who were fantastic, quick AND friendly. Bad way to do business Eagle Cleaners! I only gave them a star because I had to in order to post read more

I took a designer skirt to get dry cleaned here that had one little smudge on it. When I received it back the skirt is now unwearable with smudges of color that bled everywhere. I took it back and they just stared at me saying that there is nothing they can do. They did not offer anything to try to make it right for ruining my skirt that is not replaceable. Do not bring any designer clothes here that you really like. They obviously do not know how to handle expensive items of clothing. read more

This review is only for their shoe repair -- I had a few shirts dry cleaned too and no problems with those. I DO NOT recommend using for any shoe services. Stopped in after seeing their commercials touting their shoe repair as I had a shoe stretcher stuck in a new shoe (it was new pair of Allen Edmonds shoes that were a little too narrow). First, they do not do shoe repairs on site. The owner was upfront and explained they ship the shoes to Texas to be worked on. I also decided to have the shoes professionally stretched while they were there. I was quoted a little over $50 to have the stretcher removed and shoes professionally stretched. Several weeks later, I got a message that the shoes were back. I went inside, paid the money, and when I got in my car and had a look, one shoe had the brown color completely stripped away on the top of one shoe. Went back inside, the polite young lady agreed about the color issue and said they'd send them back to Texas. Several weeks more pass, and the shoes arrived again. The owner said that what happened was that, the first time, they used some chemical product to loosen up the leather to remove the stretcher that was lodged in the shoe, and in the process stripped away the color too. They still should have never made it to the customer like that. On the return visit, they used some sort of color to replace the original damaged/stripped away finish. Though it was much better than after the first trip to Texas, they still didn't match like they did originally -- noticeably so. The owner, while polite, would not acknowledge (nor did he deny) that there was still a color issue on the one shoe, and did not offer to send them back to have the color better matched. I put them on at home and they were not even stretched. The color issue was going to annoy me. Fortunately, there were still a few pairs of these left in stock, so I ordered another pair. I was able to find a local shoe repair person who actually does repairs on site, and he did an excellent job of stretching the width of the new pair for me. I'm out about $200 for the shoes and the $50+ I paid to Eagle. If you need shoe repairs done, there are local options who provide a much higher level of work. read more
