I am almost always greeted by my first name. And yes they have candy at the counter. Not just those dumb lollipops either. When I inquired about investing my tax returns (Note; Brunette Barbie here, I know absolutely NOTHING about investments, saving, stocks...) their financial advisor (Kevin Daley) took me under his wing and explained things in a manner that was easy to understand and easy for me to get started! Basically I just wrote Banknorth a check and they did the rest haha. Don't ask me how my investments are doing but I trust them enough to know my money is better off in their hands than burning a hole in my pocket. But again, helpful staff, and very professional. And the branch hours are AWESOME: Mon-Fri 8-7; Sat 8-3. My only gripe: No drive up banking, and no parking lot. Kobe (the Head Teller) and another teller who I'm assuming was in training since Kobe was walking him through what I needed. Totally fine by me, I'm always pro professional development. Overall, service was quick and efficient which I appreciate. Things only got a little chaotic near the end when another customer became unhappy with her teller and started getting loud. At that point it was hard to hear my tellers when they were speaking to me, which was a bit distracting and annoying because communication can still occur with a decent tone of voice.

They have an advanced automated ATM which accepts all types of deposits. You can have any deposited checks printed on the receipt as well. I'm happy to have this bank local and would highly recommend it to anyone for just about any financial reason. The ONLY downfall is the extremely tight drive-thru tellers and rear ATM. Larger vehicles should use the front ATM. The parking lot is huge. The grounds are well kept.

I made the tellers aware and they said it has to reboot and should be in my account I'm 20 min and to come back if not. They took my information to call me if anything changed before. 20 min later I go back and they said my money wasn't there and I didn't deposit anything. Even though clearly on camera you can see me Deposit my money and they lost it. They said the atm will be counted at the end of the week and if it's off they'll give my money back. Monday comes around and they say the money isn't there. Once again I say check the cameras and again they say no they don't have too. They were rude the whole time and the women behind the counter was extremely unprofessional the whole time even accusing me of lying from the start. To make matters worse the "president" of this branch was rude from the beginning, even raising his voice. They stole my money and have the audacity to be rude and not return it. These people are crooks, liars and rude. I closed my account immediately and opened an account at citizens bank across the street. For being a valued customer for 10 years and to be treated so poorly and robbed by this god awful excuse for a bank is beyond me. Don't use century bank. They aren't a family bank. Also there is no account maintenance fee. The website is easy to use and has a lot of helpful features. The $9 trades seem reasonable compared to other online brokerages. Also there is a convient location right in the financial district which makes it easy to deposit checks into my account.
