Guys you may remember my post about Nissan of Cape Coral and my disastrous experience .To refresh…read moreyour memory ; Sales person said he wouldn't run my credit , and he did I kept telling them when I got to finance I may change my mind I'm not buying the car yet ( sales person made me sign the papers and rushed me , by the time I got to finance there was a title and registration on the table ) Finance guy was nonchalant and not so nice They all made me think I'm the crazy one and almost guilt tripped me When I walked out the door another one of them came asking me what happened and when I explained multiple time he still said I don't understand and he kept saying that and wouldn't stop , made me feel gaslighted When I asked about the interest rate and numbers he wouldn't give me a number and finally said 6.5 interest rate and when I went to finance they said 7.99 The price of the car was good , good deal in general but how they handled it and treated me wasn't Also to remind you it was my fault that I signed the papers without reading but the guy kept saying if you go ahead and sign these papers we can talk more at finance So if you so on my post as well as Google maps and yelp, I blasted them all over and more people came forward and some people realize that is not a good place to do business so the post did it work despite me looking a little stupid because I signed papers without reading. My credit went down about 30 points bc of them. So I did some research, spoke to friends , some people in groups advised me that I could get credit through Credit unions and when I checked I was getting 6.5 through suncaost . Also I learned you never tell the dealer how much you wanna pay monthly , if you are financing or buying , if you want to trade etc . You should keep asking out the door prices and ask them to remove the stuff that is not legally required such as accessories. So I called Auto Nation Toyota on Monday and spoke w Chris and told him about my experience at Nissan and told him I'm looking for a car and if I go over there and if they pull the same thing, I will blast them in groups, Google maps and yelp, and they are welcome to not do any deals with me and he said no problem and schedule me for the next day I mean Wednesday to go talk with one of thesales person when I went in he wasn't there, but Chris was there and took me to Kenny. I told both this and Louis about my experience and and again warned them and told them they don't have to do any business with me because if I have a bad experience, the whole country will know lol but they went ahead so we sat down with Louis I told him couple cars I was looking and sales manager came her name was Yeney. Of course I also told her about my experience and I really want a good deal and a good rate for the interest. She understood moving forward. Everyone of them made effort to make sure I didn't have a bad deal. I told him I got 6.5 interest rate through Suncoast and they said we can beat that and they did beat that 5.59 interest rate. I was happy with that. I had them remove some of the extras from the price of the car which helped I'm also in school for my bachelors so they gave me $500 rebate. I did tell them I was a student so if you guys looking for a car, always let them know if you're a student if you're a nurse, there may be something. I also asked about any deals Toyota nation may be running such as 90 days no payment and they did so my first payment will be November and the rates are locked so overall I'm happy with Toyota AutoNation as I shared my bad experience. I wanted to share my good experience, but I also wanna remind you this could have gone the same way as the previous one and I learned a lot, especially if you're a single mom you have to do more research.o You have to ask around your friends Family And remember you are the only one looking for your best interest and remember you never have to walk out with a new car or a car day. Also you can get your gap insurance , extended warranty etc through credit union or insurance company and don't have to buy it from the dealer , it will be overpriced.May be selling one of the things. I also learn is you can always call them and ask them out the door price I also learned that a little later so I didn't ask about it regardless I'm happy with my deal. I wanted to share with you guys. If you go I would suggest you go see Louis but also communicate everything you need. Use this post, do research look up on YouTube TikTok. There are so many great dealers I mean previous dealers that give us so many tips on what to do what not to do when it comes to buying in cars, good luck to you all . Louis, Yeney , Chris they were all great and Daisy at the finance was great and didn't rush me or insist I would buy the extras which I was so happy about . Also they do work with an insurance agent , but I would suggest you get a quote from him and shop for one. He was ok. Hope this helps someone :-)

We bought a third car and never drive our BMW X3. It's not that we didn't love it, we just don't…read moredrive as much. We both work from home and our big adventure now is a 3 mile trip to Publix. So we decided to sell the SUV. Mind you a car that just sat in the air conditioned garage. A car I just had ceramic coated. A car that literally doesn't have a ding or dent anywhere. And miles do low I'm embarrassed to even mention. It's cherry. This is our third car over the years we sold to Carmax. Again, such a smooth process. Gabrielle helps us and we were out of there in about 20 minutes. If you want a fair price and a stress free process--check out Carmax.

Wish I can give 0 stars. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with Jose at CarMax…read moreFt. Myers was incredibly disappointing. My fiancé and I came in ready to purchase a vehicle with a signed PSECU AutoDraft in hand. The only complication was that the co-signer was out of state. We were repeatedly told by Jose that there was "nothing we could do" unless we financed through CarMax. He claimed their e-sign system had been down for a month and insisted our only option was to switch financing. Not wanting to give up our 5% credit union loan without exploring other options, we left and started making calls ourselves. To our surprise, another CarMax location in Naples immediately offered solutions, including remote e-signatures and even FedExing documents if needed. That was incredibly frustrating to hear after being told so definitively that there were no alternatives. It made us feel like our outside financing wasn't being respected and that we were being pushed toward CarMax financing instead. As a pregnant customer trying to secure a safe family vehicle before our baby arrives, this experience added unnecessary stress to an already emotional and time-sensitive purchase. We understand policies exist, but the lack of effort to explore solutions or advocate for us was disappointing. I hope CarMax Ft. Myers better trains its staff on available options for customers using outside financing, because no customer should have to call another location to receive the help and answers they should have been given in the first place.
