Ok so to start...for the price and the location this hotel simply cannot be beat. On top of that the accommodations were pretty damn nice, as the place has heated bathroom floors, in-room safes, and the hotel employees were the only people in all of Prague who cared about making us feel welcome. I think you have to view a hotel through the lens of the city you're staying in, so keep this in mind about Prague: it's formerly behind the iron curtain, the people generally dislike Americans, and even the nice parts of the city are kind of sketchy (to put it politely). I'm glad I visited this city and the EA Rokoko made it way easier than it otherwise would have been, but I wouldn't come back to Prague.
This place had free breakfast and the most spacious rooms we've seen in Europe. The beds could have been softer but they weren't terrible, and there is a ton of closet/hallway/coat space. Great, huge Windows to look out over a main avenue, but strangely there are no protective barriers to make sure people don't fall out of the window (or jump for that matter).
Now the reason I took a star away from what otherwise would have gotten a perfect review is because this is not really a family friendly area. Directly in front of the hotel (both nights we were there) were prostitutes soliciting. This isn't really the hotel's fault, but it's hard not to notice something like that. I would imagine that is a regular occurrence.
Outside of that, very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. read more
