Then I look up and there he is standing at the counter. "Sorry, but I tried calling and your phone went to vm." WOW - really?! Instead of just leaving because he couldn't get in touch with me- he came up to let me know it was done. WOW! I don't mean to make such a big deal about that, but it seems in this day and age most people aren't willing to go above and beyond. Well, Chris did! Awesome customer service and very knowledgeable. Recently, the screen started glitching, going black intermittently, and eventually a white line appeared. The phone has not been dropped or cracked, so it's clear this issue is related to the initial repair. When I contacted the store, I was told the warranty was only valid for 30 days, which completely contradicts what I was originally told. Conveniently, the employee who gave the one-year warranty information no longer works there. I was told to call back to speak with the manager, and when I did, I was basically given the runaround. Eventually, my boyfriend called and spoke with the manager directly, only to be told there was nothing they could do because they "can't be sure" it was their fault. Again, the screen was never cracked or mishandled, so that explanation makes little sense. Now we're left with a malfunctioning phone and an unexpected $200-plus repair bill for something that should have been covered. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.
