Terrible service. I come here all the time bc the food was tasty and service is quick. but yesterday that CHANGED i ordered a turkey sandwich and key ingredients were missing. i wanted it toasted, it wasnt. i ordered honey turkey they gave me a nasty tasting roasted turkey, i wanted oil and salt and it had just pepper. i wasn't able to return as I went to nyc only then did i bit into this nasty tasting sandwich. when i went back less than 24 hours later i was denied a new sandwich. i always come here and im saddened that they would treat a loyal customer like this, Currently will contest this charge if i don't seek a resolution. read more

If your hungry and have about 6 bucks Don't waste your time at subway! This Place has the best fresh sandwich Ive had in a while! Being that this place is right next to subway and still have bigger lines waiting to get a sandwich is crazy. Its open 24 7!!!!!!!! Best part about it. If your wondering what to get from this place its the most infamous Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. I went to the University Ave store in Newark, NJ where I bought a tea and there were no cup sleeves. I used two cups (one in the other) to prevent myself from getting burned. The guy behind the counter who was trailing me (maybe he was just making sure I knew how to make my tea) and earlier said "we have no cup sleeves", was about to charge me for the second cup. I reminded him that there are no sleeves available and I was only using the second cup to save his store from possible liability. He insisted on charging for the cup so I left the tea and my sandwich order on the counter and left. He told me I was banned. To corporate/franchise owners...If staff cannot maintain inventory and are exposing your store to possible liability and have the ultimate reaction to ban a customer who points this out, you should probably take a closer look. I don't mind not going into that store ever again, but that worker (he said he was the manager) should recive training on 1.Profiling; 2.Inventory Control; 3.Safety; and 4.Customer Service. I'm waiting to hear from corporate (I suspect this may be a franchise store, but I'm sure the big boys may want to hear about how their brand is being run). This convenience store is near to my job so I go there often to get lunch when I'm in a hurry or to quickly grab a drink, snack, toothbrush, whatever. I've been frequenting the location for about 3 years. I've had decent sandwiches there but I've had terrible sandwiches there, too. It's really inconsistent, there is no quality control. For example, I ordered a tuna wrap a few weeks ago and asked for mayo, it was too much. I went back and ordered the same thing with light mayo, there was basically no mayo. Then I went back again just now and ordered that same thing with regular mayo again and it was SWIMMING in mayo, it was disgusting. This is just one example of their typical lack of quality control. Also the staff are not too friendly. I wouldn't say they are out right rude but for someone who goes there literally all the time to grab a sandwich or a drink or snack, they act as if they do not know me and are very cold when I try to make pleasantries, which is not my usual experience with a small family owned business. Overall, I continue to go here due to their convenient location, but would go elsewhere if I had options. read more

The store doesn't have any price tags on any of its items and they vaguely show what they're charging you when they give you a receipt. They should really look into this. This place takes advantage of college students. At one time, the lady overcharged me (the price was $5, I gave her $20, and gave me back $10...) seriously, if I didn't pay any attention, I would've been robbed. read more

My co-worker told me about this place. so i said i will try it. This was my second time trying their sandwiches. Was the worst. First time my sandwich only had 1-2 slices of meet on a long roll. I kiosed, honey turkey, long wheat roll, pepper jack cheese, lettus, tomatos and onions, mayo and mustered. how can you messed that up. second time, did the same thing. I showed my coworker. The only convince store in Newark that's open 24 hours. its On university ave, right in the middle of the Rutgers campus, I guess one of the safest streets in newark. They had wide variety of products. They make deli sandwiches round the clock, I didnt buy the sandwich but the deli looked like it was pretty stocked up. read more
