An extension cord taped to a pedi chair. They plug in an electric mixer & sand your foot over the bath. Electricity + water = not safe.

Worst pedicure I have ever had. It was rushed, they had multiple people tag-teaming my service. Although they had a bowl liner, they weren't using sterile or clean tools & took an unclean tricked out hand mixer to sand my feet, then wiped off the dead skin with his hand and put it back on the shelf he got it- to be used again. Clearly the state needs to inspect this place because not only was the hygiene terrible, but the extension cord taped to the pedicure chair where an electric appliance (hand mixer) would be used over a tub of water was new & unexpected & concerning. Thank god a mixer hadn't been dropped in the water because a staff member or customer could be electrocuted. My nails were rushed but came out basically as I had envisioned. Unfortunately, there's no apex to them, so they're not very strong & I had one break a few days later. I won't be going back & I encourage you to find somewhere else to go too.

Wondering experience, sad took until I was 44 to have best pedicure of my life, never felt rushed I appreciated most the safety and cleanliness,as this was the first pedicure I had had since contracting a horrible infection from my last pedicure so had not had one in 4 months but was scared, I was instantly comforted in the fact that tubs were cover in plastic.

I have been going here for over two years now. I love this place so much! Everyone is awesome here. The atmosphere and vibe is so upbeat and fun. I leave every time is such a good mood and my nails always look fabulous. The gels here last longer than any place I've ever tried. Usually they are so grown out and haven't even chipped! Highly highly recommend this place!

    My Christmas nails!

I have been here a few times and I have finally decided to leave a review. I have been to other nail salons and this one is by far one of my favorites! The attention to detail is no joke, they really do try to do their best.

I just had the absolute worst experience at a nail salon. I walked in about 10 minutes after open(9am) and there was a couple of people already seated, no biggie. She sat me right away and got foils on my nails then walked away. After about 30 minutes they started to burn, and she had not gotten back to me so I took them off as best as I could. I got most of the already dip polish off, and she rushed back and said no they need to soak longer, which was unbelievable considering at most they should soak is 10 minutes, and I had already gotten the polish off. She insisted and refoiled and left my station again saying "just 5 more minutes". Another lady walked in stating she had an appointment at 11, and she knew she was early(an hour and 20 minutes early) and she proceeded to help her with her nails. After another 10 minutes I took them off again, cause there is no need for my nails to be foiled. And she said there was still powder and she refused to do my nails while there was still powder on them, and refoiled again. I told her they just needed to be buffed and she argued saying "5 more minutes". I sat again, severely unhappy as she was working on someone else and they other mail techs weren't doing anything I took the foils off and left.

Clean shop, disposable tools and lined pedicure tubs (cleanliness is a BIG DEAL here!!) I was a walk in appointment.

I have went to a different location in Kansas City, and they did my nails just fine. But this location really messed up my nails. they also did not tell me what they would be charging me until they were about to charge my card. Without a tip, the total came to $73 and I paid $83.. I asked for an orange color with two French tip nails on each hand, and a very simple, minimalist star design only on the nails that had French tips. The first photo that I have shown in this review is the design that I wanted on the French tips, and the rest of the pictures are what I ended up leaving with... on top of the design issue, my cuticles are very swollen as you can probably see in the pictures because of the drill used for my nails. I also have a couple of blood nicks from the drill. overall, I really did not like this experience and I do not plan on coming back. Today especially, it was very disappointing to have this happen, because I have felt very bad lately and just wanted to do something nice for myself. now, I am out $83 and have to go spend another $30 at least to fix my nails. I assume that a partial or full refund isn't an option, although that would be ideal. I am a full-time college student so money does not come easily to me...

They didn't even use a brush for my french pedicure... the lines on my toes were... not clean or even. So make sure you ask them to clean it up with a brush- unless you like it freehanded..... If that were the case I would've just done it myself. *sighs* The chairs weren't massage chairs or if it was- they hid the remote for it really well and didn't tell me.

Each tech has been very helpful, detailed and kind. This place *does* seem very busy and I understand why: they do good work. I'm never concerned with the wait, even when I have an appointment, because I can be in a hurry anyplace else but the nail appointment is my time to slow down and if they need extra time to get to me then who am I to assume I know how to manage their business better than they do?! They do their dip powder the correct way (without UV lamps) and seem to have good repartee with their clients. No one or company can offer perfection every time so mistakes and miscommunication are bound to happen but I have found my concerns to be met with all willingness to fix what I want, when I want it. I have had a dip mani every time and only this last set had a few that came off--BUT only because I'm in the 6th week of having it (thanks snow-pocolypse and sickness...). I think their prices are reasonable and the facility is clean, albeit not pristine--they deal in paint, of course there are going to be little spills and imperfections. And to put a point on how much I have appreciated their service, I don't even live north of the river. I live in Raytown and drive my happy us all the hell north, that's how much I like the results I get here. I hope this is helpful.
