Horrible experience not even worth the single star rating. *…read moreWe traded in a Jeep with a single payment left and they did not cover it and we had to make the payment. *14 hours on the phone and on hold and still can't get anyone to make it right despite being told countless times "If you have any problems just give us a call." * It's been 3 week and we still have nothing from Mazda Finance and calling them just gets you an AI runaround with no way to speak to a human being. Avoid this dealership at all costs, Kendal Ford will treat you right. I bought my last 4 trucks there over 15 years and never had a problem with them.

This dealership is exactly why so many people distrust car dealers. In my experience, they have…read morebeen unresponsive, misleading, and unwilling to do the right thing. I've been trying for over a week to cancel the extended warranty they sold me, and they have yet to provide the necessary paperwork or offer any meaningful assistance. It's also telling that nearly every time I've been in the dealership, there has been at least one irate and frustrated customer dealing with an issue. If you're shopping for a Mazda, I would strongly recommend considering one of the reputable dealerships in the Meridian/Boise area instead. I have given these people chance and chance again to do the right thing but now, I'll file a complaint with the department of insurance. Just so everyone knows- I have sent emails to both the finance managers, the GM, the GSM and left two phone messages asking to be sent the cancellation form. All of which has been ignored. Only after leaving a bad review so they respond by again trying to make everything someone else's fault Stay away!! Update: The dealership finally reached out--and, predictably, tried to blame me for their lack of response. Once that was out of the way, the sales manager (who seems reliable) sent over the form and asked me to remove my negative reviews. I made it clear: if they honored their promise to issue my refund within two weeks, I would remove two of the three reviews. I was equally clear that the third review would stay until the GM apologized for calling me a liar. They agreed and assured me the refund would be processed within the promised timeframe. I made the mistake of trusting them. As a gesture of good faith, I went ahead and removed the two reviews. You can probably guess what happened next--nothing. Two weeks passed. Then three. This Friday marks four weeks. No refund, no update, not even a basic acknowledgment--no "sorry," no explanation, nothing. The irony here is that the GM accused me of lying when I said they had ignored my attempts to reach them. That accusation continued even after I provided copies of three emails I sent, along with the dates and names tied to three voicemails left with their finance department. So, who is being dishonest here--the customer who documented every claim, or the dealership that has failed to follow through at every step? I'll let you decide. I reached out them again yesterday for an update but as always, nothing but lies. Time to refile with the BBB and the Consumer Affairs Division

The horrible customer service, the scandalous behavior. No thanks. They won't be around long. This isn't how you do business and they're about to find out! First they sell a lemon to a friend of mine. He walked in with $500 cash and let them know he was desperate and needed a vehicle. They totally took advantage of him and they knew exactly what vehicle they wanted to pawn off on him. That rug didn't last a week before it blew a head gasket. They knew something bad was wrong with it. They just wanted to get it off their lot and make definitely WAY too much off it. They had to come get it and tow it off for him. So he went in and they gave him two options to pick from with more money for a down. (What a joke. Take scam artists). Another couple lemons. He chose a Dodge truck. He was not even 10 days late. They went TO HIS JOB and towed it without warning even after talking to them and then saying it was fine! These guys are a total joke. I knew just by looking at them they were criminals. Dirty, nasty car sales men. They have no idea what they're doing. You're going down if you go through these guys! Everything they sell is junk. There are several other places you can go and get a better deal with in house financing that will work with you and have way better vehicles. This place isn't even worth pulling into the parking lot of. Please heed my advice. Go elsewhere. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT VISTA CARS SALES IN CALDWELL!!!! Less than 16…read morehours after the transaction, while driving the vehicle home, the engine experienced a catastrophic mechanical failure on Karcher Road in Nampa, Idaho. I contacted the owner, Andy, to request a full refund of the $3,000 purchase price. He declined, citing the "As-Is, No Warranty" clause in the purchase agreement. During our discussion, the following occurred: The owner offered a replacement vehicle listed at an additional $2,000 above the original price. I declined this offer after identifying issues during the test drive. When asked about the frequency of mechanical issues in $3,000 vehicles, the owner stated it was rare. I requested an even trade for a different $3,000 vehicle of equivalent value, which the owner declined. As a result of the unresolved dispute, I am initiating formal complaints with the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) Dealer Services, the Idaho Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and the Better Business Bureau (BBB), as well as pursuing legal remedies through civil court. I am currently collecting documented accounts from individuals who have had similar business experiences with this dealership for informational purposes.

The dealership wanted a **non-refundable deposit of more than $2,000** to hold the vehicle before I could have it inspected. The mobile mechanic I hired advised me **not** to do that. The mechanic also told me he knew the dealership well and that they didn't like independent PPIs, so he would have to do the inspection "stealth." From the time he was dispatched, completed the inspection, and left the dealership, only **one hour** had passed. Immediately afterward, I was told the vehicle had been sold to another out of state customer. I later learned the dealership notified the sales team about my serious interest in the element so everyone contacted their interested parties creating urgency, and the car was sold out from under me before I had a fair opportunity to complete my purchase. **If you're buying from out of state, make sure you have written confirmation that the vehicle will be held while your independent PPI is being completed. Otherwise, you could end up paying for an inspection on a vehicle that's sold before you have a chance to buy it.** Additionally, don't tell the dealership how you are paying until you are ready to sign papers. You'd think they would favor cash deals, but they actually prefer financing because THEY GET COMMISSION for the financing as well as for the sale of the vehicle.
