This is a full service supermarket (and thanks to Suzy, I now know why there are THREE M's out…read morefront because that denotes this is a department store and a grocery store and a food court). I did not shop the department store areas but I did find plenty of snacks and instant coffee for the hotel room. The fresh food area is spacious and clean with lots of options for "grab and go" and "heat and eat" if you're not looking to cook. The bakery was pretty darned amazing as well. Grocery section is tidy and well laid out with clear prices. Checkout went well. It was helpful to have a self-checkout kiosk (with an "English" button) so that I don't have to deal with language barriers. I also bought a "Migros" shopping bag for my collection. It reminds me of the French chain Brioche Dorée, but only better. The four of us came here before getting on our train and came away happy we did. The prices are very reasonable, too. PS - Don't forget and stop at nearby Sprüngli for some chocolates before you go.
