I had repeatedly sent emails to the Unemployment Insurance ombudsman and others. I had incredible difficulty getting the system to accept my user name and password. After I put all of my information in, I could not get the page to scroll down so I could submit my info. Eventually I had to go to my local library and use a computer there. This has been an incredibly difficult journey. The number for Beacon (667-207-6520) is telephone hell. The message just keeps repeating. I answer the questions the recording asks, but it never responds. I couldn't get a human on the phone. The number you call to recertify (800-827-4839) has humans who answer but they can't tell you how to get Beacon to call you back. Another number (410-767-2100) is for the MD Workforce portal; no one there could help me get help to sign into the Beacon portal. Today, I learned through the 800 number that I needed to upload my W2 form to Beacon. In 15 days, no one had told me that! Yikes!!!!
