This park is HUGE! so much to do and see here. This park also has many sculptures on display throughout the whole park. Just a quick jump off the main roads of 120th and I-25 in the city of Northglenn. Its the big park with the small hometown park feel. Theres actually many biking/walking trails that connect other parts of the city to this park, so its an easy bike ride from pretty much any of the surrounding towns. Great place to hang out, bring the family, have a picnic or come to just to chill out. I found this park to be clean, well kept and having a friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful park in a hidden location. Located in front of senior recreation center. Lots of tables w/ shade and barbecue pits.

Panoramic of the skatepark. Pretty sweet!

BEAUTIFUL! We're visiting from Kansas, and searched for a skatepark for my son, and found this gem... while he skated, we walked around the park's pathways and enjoyed the scenery. It was a bit cold, and actually started to rain a little, but what a great spot. We are definitely coming back to this park, and see what summer does to it.

We LOVE this park! The boys enjoy the skatepark, the girls enjoy walking and playing at the splash pad, plus the lake and scenery is so beautiful!

Fantastic park to have a picnic in. Enjoy. You'll love the amount of space like the Champ de Mars.

Savery Farm Mushroom Pond - Remnant of Savery Farm

    Savery Farm Mushroom Pond

It's always nice to find a hidden/unknown place that nobody has ever given it a review. I was…read morerunning a few errands in Westminster today (Sunday, May 22, 2022) and accidentally drove by it on the way to get home. I HAD to make a stop and investigate it as the Savery Savory Mushroom Water Tower, the only intact remnant of the original collection of structures didn't escape my eye/attention (how could it escape it?; it's a very tall water tower!) This was the site by a guy named Charles William Savery from Pennsylvania, who bought a 80-acre farm in what is now Westminster in 1918. Long story short, the mushroom farm which Charles built is no longer there but having one of the remnant structures, the city of Westminster built a pond in 1995. The pond, which was originally built to hold storm water, is now a habitat for many species of insects, plants, birds, fish, I mean you name it, right? The pond itself is not massive but is a good size. Once at the trailhead, you can have an extensive walk/running/bike ride as the trails are extensive (to all sorts of directions). Several parks (Foxshire Park, Valley View Park, Meadowlark Park) and Legacy Ridge Golf Course are what surround this pond. Niver Canal that runs through the area is so picturesque and you can walk/jog/run/bike along the canal if you choose. The homeowners have access to the trail(s) right from their backyard gates. Some neighbors were having an afternoon cocktail in their backyard; some were chitchatting over their property fence. It is such a beautiful area with lots of green. And the city of Westminster and the residents do well by maintaining this whole area impeccably clean and immaculate. It sure was a nice discovery!

Such a cute park to explore, there's the main pond & through the trees there's a baby pond just…read moreright next to it. I came during winter time time but I feel like during spring/summer time this park gets very green! Also there's lots of ducks
