He offered to fix something on one but honestly acted like the others were fine, basically gaslighting me. My family knows cars. He seems to be running his business efficiently for himself. Buying attractive cars and selling them for a high price with minimal work done to them. If you're trying to get a reliable car, stay away.

First off Am/was am an employee of this company before the takeover by BIG Ford…read more In September of 2018 I purchased a car from Big Ford, they sold me the car before there was any Used Car inspection done to the car, so naturally three months after I purchased the I had to replace all four tires, (you think this would have been done for everyone much less a loyal employee). I talked to the service manager Joe G. about it and basically he told me to leave his office. So ok I chalk it up as a loss and pay full price for a new set of tires of course from another ford dealership. Working for this company for over a year I get pulled into the office and told that they are going a different route, and fire me. I ask for a reason and as God as my witness, they tell me that the reason is that they are going another route, and would not tell me any other reason. I am shocked that I worked for such an awful company that after over a year of service and purchasing a car from them that they would give me a legitimate reason for parting ways. I hope that you would really consider the type of people that you deal with when you walk thru the doors at BiG Little Ford. They just want your money and employees after years of service are completely expendable.

I bought a used alternator for $45 a few days ago from Brinckman's. First of all, the owner has a…read morevery bad attitude. He was very reluctant to answer my questions; he acted as if waiting on me was inconveniencing him. Before I paid for the alternator I specifically asked him if they test them before they sell them. He replied, "Yes." So, trusting him, I bought it. After putting it on my car and finding out that it did not work, I took it to Auto Zone to have it tested. They said that it did not work. I called Brinckman's and told him about the alternator not working. He said to bring it in and he would test it, and if it didn't work he would replace it. I brought it in to him and he tested it and said that it did not work. Then he went back to the testing machine and "grounded it" and showed me that it did work, he just forgot to ground it before he tested it he said. He also said that Auto Zone does not know how to ground my kind of alternator. I called Auto Zone. Their reply: "Their testing machine automatically grounds when it tests." So once again trusting Brinckman's, I put the alternator back on my car and it still does not work. I went into Brinckman's today to tell him about it and get a replacement (like he promised). He said, "Auto Zone does not understand how an alternator works. I'm not going to compare apples to oranges and I'm not going to dispute this any further." My reply, "So basically there is nothing you can do for me?" Brinckman's, "I can credit the $45 from this alternator to a new one" (which he says is $145 and I price checked around and they are $94.) His reply to my saying I price checked and they were not that much: "Mine are lifetime warrantied." I said, "So are the ones I price checked." He said, "Well mine are not." So, basically the owner of Brinckman's promised me a working alternator, wether it was the original one I purchased or a replacement one and is now saying there is nothing he can do for me unless I purchase a brand new one from him. I will never shop here again. The owner's attitude is horrible and his word is cannot be trusted.

He seemed very discouraging, and I believe it has something to do with the fact that I am a woman, not a man, that knows my business. I actually witnessed the same a year earlier when I brought my car in for service. A woman was looking and he basically told her if she didn't have at least 5k down, there was nothing there for her.
