The owner Ray is not your typical I own this shop so I'm never around type of guy, he ACTUALLY is in the grind cutting hair while simultaneously being constantly active with his guest and his community. He sponsors teams, schools, fundraiser, ministries very Often when he can. He even gives serious starting barbers a shot to begin their careers as a barber at his shop never letting a bad barber stay long. The hair cuts are great and everyone is always open to conversation and discussion about changes in hair style. You wanna try something new and kinda weird don't blink an eye to tell them, they will hear you out. If your looking for MORE than a barber shop that just gets you a "one and done" type "next!" Environment come here. It's family here and you'll never be uncomfortable there. Perfect place if you want to send your youth like preteen or teenager or even a lil younger here BY themselves to make them feel independent and get them a step forward to being mature and adult like. I know it sure helped me. I've even seen parents ask Ramon to put their young kids on "Sweep Duty" to build their character and have them get a loose feel on how it is to work and be responsible. Haha All barbers under Ramon's barber shop are good and under constant evaluation to make sure they are professional, clean, skilled and friendly. They have a rather spacious parking lot so parking is great! Two big HD Tvs, Music and a restroom. They have a very good working A.C so no sweating bullets and being stressed out while getting a haircut.

So, I Stopped in for their new Wednesday special to get a $25 dollar cut. Didn't realize it was…read morewith an apprentice until the end of it all, but that wasn't a big deal. I don't mind someone learning, but I did find it unprofessional when my barber smoked a golden, oval-shaped weed vape twice. Once at the start when he offered me a hit, and then another rip once I told him what I wanted, to "activate my creativity". The cut was actually going well after he repeated back to me exactly what I wanted and I was hyped with them. There were some longer strands of hair I had him separate in the front to have two longer strands I could manipulate with my hairstyle but at some point in the creative process the two strands that were separated and crucial to the look I was going for were mixed in with the rest of my hair and those longer strands disappeared,; hair that I'd grown to the tip of my nose was chopped to the top of my brow. I actually hadn't even noticed until after I went home to wash my hair because they put gel product in it, which I hadn't asked for but thought it was for a before and after pic so I let it slide, but I was already feeling very uncomfortable and wanted to leave to wash it off immediately at home after I had told him in the beginning that I only used natural products to style it!. And he confirmed by saying "oh, so you only use natural products to style it? " As it came out, yeah I could say it looked good but missing the signature I was hoping for The saving grace was being able to come back to adjust it again the next day but again they put product in my hair that I did not ask for or approve, this time it was a texture powder. Product hides the details I was looking for to realize I wasn't satisfied with the cut before I left. You get what you pay for rings true, but there should at least be a standard of not being under the influence when still in a learning position.

"Don't be afraid to tell him" the owner says to my barber as he's walking out with his girl just laughing. It was an alright hair cut but the fact that they talk shit behind your back or act sneaky about it, grimy individuals. I just wanted to see what kind of place it was and realized that the "good reviews" seem fake like someone payed for good reviews.
