Not the best photo, but I am very satisfied with my haircut after my first time at Lil Ray's Barbershop. I went to a couple other local barbers since moving back to Ontario and was having lackluster experiences. Ray's website was easy to use and I like the appointment calendar notifications. I showed up to the shop and Ray was extremely welcoming. He made sure to communicate with me throughout the process to make sure we were on the same page. The shop was clean. I will be back. I got recommended to Wendy at this place a little while ago. She was the person to cut my hair off and has been doing my hair since. I never have to worry about how my hair is going to turn out because it always comes out good. I have so much confidence in her skills that I tell her to cut my hair how she feels like at that moment. I have never been disappointed and probably wont be. From the moment I first called to find out if appointment was needed, i got a sense this was going to be a great place. When entering "LIL RAY'S BABERSHOP" Ray greeted my family and I as if we WE WERE family. We did not wait long at all seing as we were just walkins. My 20month old son was the first one..and I'd have to say for this being his first haircut at an actual barbers and not a "kids cut"place, he did ok. The best part was Rosanna kept our lil one entertained and worked with his attitude marvelously!!! The end result of the haircut she did on him was exceptional (picures added)!! I was 18 when I first came, now I am 27 and let me tell you something about this place, they welcome you with open arms and are ESPECIALLY Welcoming to the youth/younger generation. The owner Ray is not your typical I own this shop so I'm never around type of guy, he ACTUALLY is in the grind cutting hair while simultaneously being constantly active with his guest and his community. He sponsors teams, schools, fundraiser, ministries very Often when he can. He even gives serious starting barbers a shot to begin their careers as a barber at his shop never letting a bad barber stay long. The hair cuts are great and everyone is always open to conversation and discussion about changes in hair style. You wanna try something new and kinda weird don't blink an eye to tell them, they will hear you out. If your looking for MORE than a barber shop that just gets you a "one and done" type "next!" Environment come here. It's family here and you'll never be uncomfortable there. Without a doubt I have finally found my all time favorite barber shop! I brought my 3 year old in for a stylish cut & fade; and Rosanna did not disappoint. She absolutely nailed the look I wanted for him. His new cut is so cute.. I love it so much.. On top of that, Ray the owner is so courteous and nice.
