I would recommend buying elsewhere. Been a long time customer of Ace Hardware until just recent…read more I'm a fan of sthil products and have purchased a fair amount from Ace. Just bought a new chainsaw that lasted 2 weeks. Thought I was completely ok with the situation, I have a warranty and never had anything negative experiences prior to this. After my saw had been to 2 different Ace Hardware stores. They told me Sthil would not warranty my saw due the chain being on the saw backwards. Thats completely understandable if I had the chain on backwards. But I just bought and only used it a handful of times before it would no longer start. Never once did I take the bar off my saw. So basically I'm called a liar and out $550 for a saw I just purchased. Sthil will not help and Ace was kinda enough to offer me a new saw at store cost for $450 . Sad...I try to always support the smaller local hardware and turns out that they don't really care.

Stopped by Bennett's to look at sheds. I needed a new shed, so I shopped around and Bennett's was…read moreby far the best business to buy from. There are many businesses that sell sheds in the area, but Bennett's was the only one that would build on site with a metal roof for a reasonable price. I requested a custom 12' x 15' salt box shed with an oversized door and a few other upgrades. The upgrades didn't really cost much and I think they will be worth it. Wood was overpriced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that wood prices are returning to normal, shed prices are also returning to normal. I felt like it was a good time to buy. The employee who sold me the shed really knew her stuff. In addition to selling sheds, Bennett's also sells outdoor furniture and basketball hoops. They also have a toy store with an extensive selection of quality toys. They also have a dog boarding kennel and they offer pet grooming. They really have a diverse, family owned business and I'm happy to be a customer. I'll be visiting again for some outdoor furniture!
