Avoid for all things bathroom! We hired Brad to tile a shower and install a new vanity. We've had…read moreso many issues to include the following: 1. The shower wasn't tiled evenly nor with consideration for bull nose tiling on edges. As a novice, I asked Brad to review all materials prior to project start. He said we had everything we needed, but once he was almost done, we realized the edges would be a problem. Now we either need to re-tile or do a makeshift fix that will look terrible. The project has been delayed extensively and will cost us way more out of pocket. 2. The shower drain was fully grouted in and could not be removed. The type of grout used wasn't appropriate for a shower floor. The drain piping wasn't properly sealed. We discovered these issues upon close inspection with a third-party plumber/contractor. Thankfully, we never used the shower because I'm sure we would've had water seeping from our 2nd floor bathroom into our kitchen. 3. The new piping underneath the sink leaks. Additionally, Brad's team forgot to turn off the sink valve upon leaving for the day. When we turned the water back on for the house, we had a flood in the bathroom. Thankfully, we caught it before there was extensive damage. Unacceptable! 4. The premises were left an absolute mess. They used no protective covering on the carpet. They left tools and open containers everywhere in the bathroom. In our brand new white vanity, they left open purple primer which was spilled and stained the inside of our cabinet and the flooring. Part of our agreement was to haul our old vanity and other trash away. It's been sitting in my yard for over a month with countless promises to pick it up and never showing up. Aside from these specific issues, there was just general unprofessionalism. Brad would promise to show up at a certain time or to follow through with something and would repeatedly fail to meet his promise. He would leave at 2-3PM during the day and not even check in to state what progress was or plan for next steps despite me working from home and being readily available. For the issues I've already mentioned, he consistently would blame his teammate(s) for poor quality work. I don't care who is physically doing the work, I hired your service and your helpers reflect your company for better or worse. When all is said and done, I'm having to hire a different contractor to finish the job. It'll cost me thousands of dollars more and is taking over a month longer than anticipated. I cannot recommend Brad for any work related to bathrooms, and the way he handled this project makes me wary to recommend him for any jobs at all.
