He spent over an hour trying to find the problem and said he was available if it came up again. Sure enough it did the next day and he grabbed the part and fixed the issue. This is the first time I felt I got a great price, service and communication from a mechanic without feeling like I got duped once they left. I hope they know they are my go to service now. I'm not 100% sure on what would be charged for this particular issued I looked it up online and this fell within that range... towards the higher end of the range but within the range nonetheless. BONUS, I checked in on Yelp and there was a 10% off labor coupon. That saved us about $40! I had to refuse and make them fix what they broke. Other stuff was fixed. Then a list of stuff they claim needs to be done soon. (Did not include my radiator that had a hole in it.) So I had to be towed ,on another day. Lucky my engine was not ruined. To find that out. Had them check the list of stuff and none of that needs to be done. I put a complaint to AAA to not recommend them, and what had happened. And will report to BBB.

My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee had its sticker expire over a year earlier because it couldn't pass an inspection due to a problem with the C02 sensor. The dealership I purchased it from said the repair would cost me almost 2 grand when I brought it in for a recall repair because of multiple reasons and that was just too much. I ended up paying almost $400 to have an auto repair shop in the Galleria fix it when they said they could fix the issue by replacing something else and that actually didn't work but they said the charge stayed because they still replaced a different part. I wasn't happy about it but I left it alone. Finally, work had me in Pearland and I remembered a friend recommending Logos as a place with honest, capable mechanics and I decided to see if they could help fix the Jeep so I could finally pass the state inspection. Both Jim and Don were super friendly and after talking to Jim for a while I decided to take a chance and have them take a stab at it. Jim brought Mark around and explained he would be the one to do the work so I showed him the Jeep and explained I just wanted to pass the inspection but I kept failing due to this sensor that the stealership wanted more money to fix than I could afford. Mark took the time to break down the possible issues and why he was going to have to charge me for a diagnostic fee that would allow him to get under the hood and actually get a better sense of what was going on. He was super knowledgeable and also made me extremely comfortable taking a chance on their shop. He told me they'd need the day so he offered to get me a ride home or loan me a loaner car. I took the loaner car and went home. He called me later that evening with an update that they'd have to run more diagnostics and explained why and how much and he clearly wanted me to be comfortable with the expense and not feel like I was getting ripped off so I told him to go ahead and do what he needed to do. I got a call the next day that it was ready so I drove back. Mark told me that it would take me driving the car for a while for the sensors that were reset to go back to normal and so I left and sure enough, when the dashboard came back to normal, I saw that the engine check light that had haunted me for over a year had been addressed. Jim and Mark are clearly honest, competent mechanics and I will be utilizing their shop for both of our vehicles henceforth. And they fixed the problem correctly for like 1/4th of what the dealership wanted! Highly recommend!
