Great Döner! Chicken only. Unsure about the traditional Döner, then get a wrap. Lahmacum (pizza wrap) is a slightly thicker bread than a flour tortilla with some kind of seasoning and sauce (can't really taste the sauce or even notice it). Dürüm Döner is more like a flour tortilla. Pick your veggies. Sometimes they just have a yogurt sauce, other times they have a garlic, yogurt, and spicy sauce. Want it with rice, just ask! Döner boxes are great too! A box filled with great fries, meat, and your veggies/ cheese and sauce of choice! They take USD, but do it based on conversion. Speak English very well and are super nice people!!! read more

I have tried dönor all across the area, and everyone pretends to have their dönor spot they say is "The best"..I assure you they are all liars if they don't say it's Dönor Time in Eisedlerhof. The fries are always perfect and the kebab meat is never dry, and very few places have a spicy sauce let alone one like Dönor Time. Plus, the staff speaks English and is incredibly friendly. In love with their döners. They have a variety of ways to have your döner. Döners wraps, döners box, döner plate, and much more. The vegetables and ingredients are always fresh. The meat has the right amount of spice on them. Add in the spicy sauce and it'll taste amazing! Their baklava is good too. It's flaky, and sweet. The restaurant is simple, clean and family friendly. Reasonable price and high quality compared to some döner places around. They accept euros, dollars, and card. The owners put a lot of care in their customers. Tried every Doner place I come across and I always return to my first taste of the Doner Wrap here in Einsiedlerhof -- even better than a much fancier one in Heidelberg. The key is having an owner/manager that loves his business and his customers! I noticed a palatable difference when his workers are cooking the food and he's not there. My wife always gets the Doner Plate and the kids love the calamari. But c'mon. The star of the show is the Wrap (and that addictive homemade yogurt sauce) And don't forget the cheese! read more

Tried several Doner places before I came across this one, where I opted for rice instead of fries on my plate with spicy sauce...ummm ummm heavenly! Their Doner meat was similar with most other Doner places, but the rice and their spicy sauce? Wow! Their spicy sauce is not like others where it's blood red with pepper seeds floating around reminding you of srriracha sauce. It is rather slight pink mayo look but the spiciness is just right with a garlicky flavor that went so well with the whole plate! Absolute best Doner plate so far. One star minus as they had no control of their young daughter running around the dining area yelling screaming and putting her face in front of customers dining...hopefully that was just that day. read more

OMG!!!! i remember these guys when i was stationed in Vogelweh back in 2001. They were in the food court in the PX then and i still have yet to have a Doner as good as the ones that they serve. I remember that we would go down to the PX almost daily for dinner to have one.
