I wish places like this were viable back home where I live. One you just dont have so many wine establishments period. Two, they just could carry a legacy plus all the new things happening because I dont live in Paris. Three, often times a place will have an eatery/bar attached too. Like the team at Clamato/Septime, or Frenchie, while they were famous first as a dining epdestination Deli cave did it the other way it seems. They added an annex to their shop, got some chefs and created a bust,ing meeting point. Almost 9pm and the place is just packed on a Wednesday! Id kill for that. My friend had arranged a seemingly random group of restaurant folks here and I came in a bit later. They were bottles deep and snacking and i just swam in their wake drinking whatever they handed me. The only drawback here is the annex is tiny so maneuvering isnt so easy. I mean like almost mosh pit tight. But still good times for sure and completely unexpected read more
