Horrible customer service. rip off, car wasn't tuned, and the cut the fuel injector bracket.

An employee of mine needed his supercharged mopar dyno'd after a recent tune at another (certified) shop. He called Dyno-mite and was told that they could most certainly dyno his car. He borrowed my shop's F350 and trailer and made the two and a half hour trip to Warrior, Alabama. A couple of days later he called and was told that they could not dyno his car unless he agreed to pay twenty one hundred dollars for them to tune it. He explained that the car had already been tuned and simply needed to be dyno'd. They told him that the shop that tuned his car was a GM shop and NOT a certified Mopar facility. He argued, correctly stating that the shop was indeed a Mopar certified shop and had come highly recommended by several of his Mopar owning friends. After seeking my advice he called and asked to speak with the owner. The lady who answered the phone was quite rude and hung up on him. Needless to say he retrieved his car and is looking to have it dyno'd elsewhere. As a business owner, I feel like we could have reached an understanding had we been able to speak with the owner. Since that didn't happen, here is yet another bad review for this shop. EDITED TO RESPOND TO THE OWNERS COMMENTS - I honestly have no idea what you are trying to say. The car had already been tuned at another shop - he simply wanted your shop to dyno it. I have a motorcycle dyno but not an automotive one. Interestingly enough there is a dyno shop a few streets behind us but he wanted to take it your shop because all of his Mopar buddies said you were the best. I guess we will never know.. read more

I was out of town for business and heard about their shop. My old girl was acting a bit rough lately. So I said what the heck and took my older car in and watched them do their magic. They gave life to my old girl again. Maybe I'll be able to use it for another 40 years. (I rebuilt the car 40 years ago.) read more

I wouldn't wish my experience at this car shop on my worst enemy. I reluctantly handed over my car on February 13th, trusting the lead mechanic's assurance that it would only take a week for the needed repairs. This turned out to be the first of many broken promises. Communication was virtually non-existent. No updates were forthcoming unless I took the initiative to call and check on the progress of my vehicle. Even then, the updates were vague and left me feeling uneasy about the care my car was receiving. After two agonizing months of waiting, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and retrieve my car. I was utterly appalled by what I found. There were loose parts, a gauge pillar installed so incorrectly it looked like a child had done it, and a scratched exterior wrap that made my heart sink. To make matters worse, I discovered a cut wire under the hood. Additionally, the interior of my car, which I had never once smoked in, reeked of stale cigarettes. When I went to pick up my car, the demeanor of the staff was a sharp contrast to the friendly façade they had initially put on. They were noticeably quiet, evidently aware there was absolutely no work done on my car. Instead of apologizing or even attempting to justify their actions, they were uncommunicative and outwardly rude. There was no attempt to make amends, no remorse shown for the blatant misuse of my property - just an icy, dismissive attitude. This, coupled with the abysmal state of my car, left me feeling not just disappointed, but utterly disrespected. But the real kicker came when I discovered a dash cam video of my car, intended for repairs, being used as a personal vehicle by the mechanic. The footage clearly showed my car being driven to an undisclosed home, the mechanic lounging about, essentially taking my car for joy rides. To add insult to injury, the audio from the dash cam picked up conversations where I, the customer, was being questioned about my knowledge of my own car's sounds and preforms. It was beyond infuriating to hear the audacity of these mechanics, discussing my vehicle as if it were their personal toy. I have several videos documenting these outrageous actions. This car shop has a clear pattern of biting off more than they can chew, as evidenced by their inability to complete my car's repairs in the promised time frame. It's obvious they take on a volume of jobs they simply cannot handle effectively, resulting in subpar work and long waiting periods for customers. The lack of regard for their clients' time is a glaring indication of their mismanagement and unprofessional service. It's a classic case of quantity over quality, leaving customers like me in a state of limbo, waiting for months on a service that was promised to be completed in a week. I cannot stress enough how much I advise against entrusting this car shop with your vehicle. The utter lack of professionalism, irresponsibility, and downright disrespect shown by the staff is truly appalling. If you truly love your vehicle, yourself the heartache, frustration, and hard-earned money, and take your car anywhere else. I paid $1339 for all these troubles. Read business owners reply below which shows the lack of care and knowledge to run a trustworthy shop. I filed a claim with my bank which isn't cancelling a card. The claim is still under review. The car was picked up early to prevent and further damage. Anyone with sense would get their car back. To test drive a car to someone's house is a wild thing to justify. read more

This place has the absolute WORST customer service of any place that I've ever dealt with. Considering I have been in the auto industry for 30 years owning all types of vehicles, that's saying a lot. The entire process was terrible! They kept my Jeep over a month just to dyno tune it. The first week they somehow got it into neutral and couldn't get it back into gear. After a solid week of me calling and leaving messages with no return phone call whatsoever. I paid a guy to go look at it because I live 1-1/2 hrs away. The guy calls me and says when he got there someone had left the key on and killed the brand new battery that I installed 2 days before I dropped it off. He also said it took him all of 5 minutes to put back into gear. So now another week and half goes by and I finally get someone on the phone and they tell me that the tuning is done but they can't get the Jeep to go back into Park. I wouldn't have even known this had I not kept calling and finally got a person. So I done the research and called the place that done my Hemi swap and got a list of things that will cause this issue. I call DynoMite and tell them what I've found. It would take the average mechanic less than 10 minutes to check the entire list. I call a couple times and leave messages with no return call. Finally I get a lady in the office and she tells me that the tuner guy "hasn't had a chance" to check those couple things and he's moved on to another vehicle. Now I feel like they just abandoned my vehicle for easier work that the can make money on quickly instead of finding my problem and getting paid from me. Another week goes by and I finally decided to just go get the Jeep and hopeful that just maybe it's something on the Jeep causing the issue and not something in their tuning. Although it was going into park fine before they tuned it! I show up with a good attitude despite the horrendous customer service. They inform me that I will have to pay in full before I can even see my Jeep!! I explain that I'd feel much better if I at least took it on a quick 1-2 mile test drive and they tell me absolutely not! I further calmly explain that most shops allow you to test drive the vehicle and make sure you are satisfied before payment. They said they don't care. Then I ask can I atleast speak with the guy that done the tuning to make sure that park is the only issue?? They tell me no! At this point, another lady comes from the back of the office and proceeds to get an attitude with me and tell me there's no way that I will test drive the Jeep unless I pay in full right now!! I calmly tell the lady that I was speaking with the other lady and that her attitude is about to piss me off. She says, "and I care why!?" At this point, things go sideways and I'm visually upset and irritated. They then told me to get out of their office or they are calling the cops! This is unbelievable. I just can't believe they would treat a paying customer who has been so understanding this way! After a few minutes to calm down in my truck, I go back inside and the lady that I had the argument with isn't in there. So I deal with the First Lady and just pay so I can get my Jeep and leave!! I will never recommend anyone to this place. They are banking on people to drop their vehicle off so they can hold it hostage until they get your money. They made it very clear that they didn't care if I was happy or not with the tuning or services. FIVE THUMBS DOWN FOR DYNOMITE PERFORMANCE!!!! read more

Dropped off my SS Silverado with Dynomite Performance & Tuning to upload a new tune on the truck. They kept the truck for over a week and told me it was ready. When I returned to pick up the truck the transmission no longer shifted into any gear and the tune was bad. Had the truck taken to another shop to be repaired. The owner Richard is refusing to pay for my burned up transmission and thinks I still need to pay him for him messing up my transmission. I dropped off a perfectly good running truck and received a paperweight in return. STAY AWAY FOLKS. The same day they blew up another Silverado on the dyno. The week before they did tuning on a Charger and it blew up the next day after they tuned it. DO NOT USE DYNOMITE PERFORMANCE AND TUNING. Edited to respond to the response below. I have plenty of money to pay another shop to fix your screw up. Just not paying you sir with your poor quality work and customer service. Transmission supposedly going out? I cranked the truck up in your shop and it never shifted into any gears. Stop lying. Your poor comment choice on here will allow potential customers to see your true colors sir. read more
