The food is always hot and well cooked. There are set menus to choose from. My favourite is crispy duck which comes with pancakes, spring onion and cucumber and the chow mein is always nice. I was given a free Chinese calendar and a fortune cookie on my last visit which was nice. The staff are friendly and are usually run off their feet when I go on a weekend evening but the weekday evenings might not be as busy. The parking is good and there are lots of spaces but it gets busy at the weekend as the pub uses the spaces aswell.

Whatever you order is freshly cooked for you there and then. The food was good, I certainly didn't feel like they were trying to discourage me from eating all I could. After each course the waitress asked if we wanted more before moving on to the next course. Portion size was fine, not that it matters because you can just keep getting more. The drinks were a little expensive, but given the fixed cost of the menu that's par for the course for these sorts of establishments. For two of us with drinks (1 x beer, 3 x soft drinks) our total including service was £50. I'm still stuffed now, several hours later so I think it was pretty good value. Service was fast and friendly throughout. If we had half stars I would have gone for 3.5, but as there is already a 3 star review I'll go 4 to make a 3.5 average.
