I called them earlier today and they said they did not have anything that would help me out. I called all over town to find the piece I was looking for. Something inside me said to go to Cycle Gear. As I pulled up and went inside, memories of high school motorcycling flooded my mind. As I entered two guys were standing at the counter and immediately the guy behind the counter asked me "what's up". I showed him what I was looking for and before I could finish my sentence he said "we go that". I was impressed. They seem to care about their customers big time. I needed two and he said come by next week we will have another one. I was really impressed at the price I was quoted. Definitely as cheap as the Internet and no shipping charges. If you need some gear for your motorcycle look these guys up and give them your business.

Fantastic staff and great selection…read more I'm a new rider so I wasn't sure what all I needed. But I found it all at cycle gear. Boots, jackets, gloves, helmet - you need it? They've got it. The service is good too. The team is friendly and helpful. My husband loves that he can get tires fitted there by people who know what they're doing. It's great to have staff that love what they sell!

So, I walked in and boom, they have a great selection of helmets, jackets, pants, gloves and footwear. In fact, I would say the largest selection in any Louisiana motorcycle shop. I walked out with 2 new helmets, gloves and a big smile. The service was helpful and prices were fair. They do have a wide variety to meet most all price points as well. After standing behind the customers for two minutes and listening to all 4 of them talk about someon else's Project I asked if anyone worked there. it seemed to anger the employees. After some back and forth about customer service one of the guys behind the counter who I presume to be the owner or at least the manager told I wouldn't like the service here anyway. I told him he was probably right and left. I guess if you're not a mud riding buddy or club member, you just not worth the time. So take it straight from the source (the guy working behind the counter)Elite Powesports has lousy customer service.

As most would expect writing a review about a gas station isn't as wonderful as one might think…read more With so many choices to choose from why would anyone take the time to write about a gas station. Well for one if it's outside your neighborhood and the people are friendly and the variety of goods is ok why not, maybe it'll persuade someone from stopping at another less favorable gas station. These guys hold normal business hours almost. 5 am to 10 pm I think are there hours. Just a simple 4 pumps and the gas may be a few cents more than the rest of town, (not like that lunatic on Jefferson in Bocage, if you live here you know the one). The infomercial LCD's on the gas pumps almost never work, but when they do they feed you the local weather report or lotto numbers. The gas pumps are fast so you're not sitting around forever. The mini-mart sits adjacent to a nail salon, I've never been to the nail salon but they seem to be doing well enough to stay open. The mini mart though has all the standard fare. It's kind of like walking into the convenience store in the movie Clerks. (if you haven't seen it, watch it). Then in the back one of the owners brothers has a hamburger / gyro stand. During the day he cooks up cheeseburger/fry combo's for the hungry gas getters and the occasional gyro request he's happy to oblige. They stock UTZ potato chips there which is a huge plus for me. They also stock fresh crackling's from time to time in the little Ziploc baggies. They have a killer deal of a 32 oz soda for 99 cents which is better than the circle K deal down the street and they have an Icee machine. They even have little seats and tables inside and a few outside if you like eating your hot dog in the humid air. While it's not a 7-11 like those back east or west, it's a nice quick easy mart with nice folks behind the counter and plenty of booze and smokes to keep a suburban LSU sports watching Dad or housewife happy. Easy in / Easy Out traffic flow and easy to find makes this gas station I actually like going to.

Rating remains the same and actually don't think anything has actually changed in what this store…read morehas to offer--it's a convenience store with a hot deli---but they did perform a quick interior remodel and for some reason or another I felt like it was worthy of mentioning! My law practice of the last 18 months or so is such that I have more business lunches and eating out so I do not come here as often but when I eat in, this is still a go to spot for me.
