Honestly I have not thought a lot about the outward appearance of this place (Staff turn over) I have been a patient for over 3 years and have not once seen a doctor only nurse practitioners however they referred me for the MRI that found a underlying issue. So I let the signs around me go until today. I was scheduled for a procedure . I ask a question regarding a need for a driver and a few follow up questions. The woman became rude and impatient making loud breathing noises you know the look . I simply ask if we could move away from the others and talk the next thing office staff where everywhere like it was the biggest TikTok moment of a lifetime. This practice intentionally harms patients and neglects their care. They falsify records, lie to patients, change your care plan and medication without telling you, and cause harm. Do not go to these doctors. You will not see the same doctor twice. They talk to you for about 5 mins and then ask what meds your on and say they will send them over. Which is almost a miracle to get them to do when they're supposed to. You can't get a live person on the phone number listed it's a nationwide call center. They're just impossible to deal with. My mother has been with them for at least 6 years and all they want her to do is get more shots or more nerve burns(that don't work), instead of helping her get some relief from her bulging and ruptured discs. She doesn't want to leave them because she's worried she'll be labeled as doctor shopping. So again I say don't waste your time! read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. #DynamicPainManagement in Milton/Pensacola is the absolute worst. WORST. My husband had dental surgery on Friday from an unaffiliated Dr. The dental surgeon gave him a script for pain meds because, well, he ripped all his freaking teeth out. You'd think he needs meds for that, right? Well apparently the powers that be at Dynamic Pain Management think he shouldn't have gotten narcotics. DRESSED HIM DOWN FOR IT, because god forbid the man actually not be in pain for a minute. BTW this is the same "Wellness" group that took away the opioids that were helping him in Denver and in Tampa. Completely cold turkey, no step down on meds he'd been on for 10 years. My husband complained about a medicine causing memory problems, so they TRIPLED the dosage, just when he's looking for a new job. He hates the a patch they have him on, hates the way it makes him feel and the withdrawals he has even going without it for a day or two (which happens every month because of Dr's and insurance) so of course they have doubled that dose too. You can't advocate for yourself, because then you're labeled a drug seeker, even though hubs has been on and needed opioid pain meds for a very painful disorder he's been battling for more than 10 years. There is no cure. He can't just get over it. He can't "just deal with it". He can't "PT" or "therapy" his way out of it. His body is attacking his own nerves so they are raw and screaming 24/7, but these doctors don't give a flying crap. I know there is an opioid epidemic, but these drugs exist supposedly to help people, and we've gone too far when the people that need them aren't allowed to have them prescribed. My husband cries in pain almost every night, and I can't do a damn thing about it. We can't change doctors AGAIN, because hey, RED FLAG that's drug seeking behavior. The system is rigged against us. I want to scream and throw things and protest in their parking lot. Oh, and you don't even get to see a doctor, the best you get is a holier-than-thou Nurse Practitioner that could care less. I've lived with chronic back pain most my life. Prescription medication unfortunately doesn't allow for me to live my best life so I cant allow that to be my only option. I went in for my consultation today and I feel like I have found a place that I can fit in. The Doctor I spoke to today made me feel understood and valued. Not one time in our entire conversation did She NOT have a greater understanding of what my spine is doing and why. For the first time in 7 years I feel hopeful. I've already been set up to get my first injection. My Doctor has a plan for me. This is the first time in my life I'm comfortable letting go of the wheel and letting them drive. This is Corporate greed at its best. Regardless of the severe pain level you have, they will only recommend painful shots of every kind. That is the only way they will give you even a minimum amount of pain medication. You constantly see just a string of PAs without the doctor. The woman PA, Tanya, that is there all the time is rude, arrogant, and visibly disinterested in your pain story.. Several patients are putting together a class action lawsuit against some of those principles involved in this charade of a practice. More patients asked to be added as a prominent injury attorney in Northwest Florida is taking the case.. If you are looking for relief from your pain, please don't have your hope dashed by ever coming to Dynamic in Milton. read more

I left a pain management company due to SEVERAL issues and swore I would never go to another one. I had a 3-level ACDF surgery and was just in a ridiculous amount of pain due to muscle spasms. I've suffered from them for years. Trigger point injections helped with the pain, but the other company never wanted to do them. My PC doc convinced me to try Dynamic, and I gave in. I'm SO glad I did. At my initial appointment, Dr. Durkin immediately suggested the trigger point injections. I was so relieved. I needed something to fix the problem, not pain meds to put a bandaid on it. The staff is unbelievably nice and seem to really care about fixing my pain, not just shoving a prescription of pain meds in my hand and sending me on my way. I can move my neck and, although I do get a little stiff and painful in the mornings when I wake up, I'm okay for most of the day. Morning and nights are tough, but manageable and I'm sitting at a pain level of 0-3 during the day. Previously, I was at a 6 or 7 all the time. After three straight years of constant pain that could have been fixed with simple trigger point injections, I've finally found a company that wants to help give me a better quality of life. I know that, more than likely, I'll have pain for the rest of my life. I'm only 39, so that's a little discouraging, but this company, and this doctor, is on my side. I was a little nervous about coming here after some of the reviews (and my other pain management experience), but I know that more people will review negatively than the people who have positive experiences. That's why I decided to share my experience. Wherever you go, there is a chance that something negative may happen. I'm four or five appointments in and things have been great. If you're more interested in fixing your problem than just getting a prescription for medications that only put a bandaid on your pain, this is the place to go. First, I didn't want to mark any stars at all. I really wanted to mark negative stars toward Dr. Ali in the Milton office of Dynamic Pain and Wellness. I also was not happy with the attitude and mouth of the last woman who checked me out. The only reason I made an appointment with this agency is because my insurance changed the first of the year and West Florida Pain Management, where I was treated like a human who has pain, no longer would accept my insurance. I am 70 years old, I had neck surgery on C5 in 2018, and the fusion actually cause more pain than relief. I believe that's because C4 and C6 were also problematic. I have disc degeneration in my lower back. West Florida ordered a CT scan the latter part of last year, and in addition to the back problems, the scan also revealed my kidneys were enlarged. That swelling is so bad on the right side you can visibly see the swelling. I'm scheduled for an MRI and seeing another doctor for that issue, but it adds to my daily pain. I informed the doctor my neck pain is horrible in the morning. I told him I have to take one of the 2 daily Narco 7.5 pills I am currently prescribed immediately when I wake up for the neck pain before I can't even get up. He conducted a physical exam. I stood up, moved my head from side to side and front and back. Next, he instructed me to lift up my shirt, ran his fingers over my spine, I pointed out that my right side was swollen, (my kidney, which he acknowledged) and then made me lean forward and backwards. He did not have my most recent scans, because he asked me to sign a release so he could get a copy. He then proceeded to pick up a plastic model of the lower portion of the spine and told me I'm suffering from arthritis!!! He then said he wanted to do injections and stop the meds. I told him I was not too keen on injections, and that I already had a back brace. He insisted I schedule the injections. Then he said he was going to schedule a follow-up 4 weeks from the appointment. I told him I have been suffering with pain daily, and was really hoping to maybe get a third pill for daily use instead of just two!!! He suggested I break my current pills in half, and that if he did give me 3 pills a day he was going to reduce the strength. After 15 minutes the appointment was done. They sat me in a chair and called me to a window to check out. The woman at the checkout window was a piece of work. She handed me some papers with instructions to start physical exercise. Then she a date for the injections that I really did not want in the first place. She made that appointment for February 14th. She got me to sign a release to get my scans, and attempted to set the next doctor's appointment for February 21st!!! I told her my current prescription needed renewed before the 11th. She told me I needed to talk to the doctor about that. I told her an appointment for the 21st didn't help me to do that before the 11th. She again said, in a very harsh and commanding voice, the doctor said a 4-week follow-up and would not budge on a sooner date. I handed her my paperwork and walked out. I am livid to say the least!!!! This pain management office/facility did not treat my condition, or even try to understand me. They treated me like a drug seeking addict, with no regard for my current pain, fears or even the real extent of the problem!!! I informed the doctor I've been in recovery for 33 years, and that I'm a substance abuse professional who understands addiction, but who is also in pain!!! He had one goal... Get me off the 2 pills a day I take currently to function. I don't get high, I don't abuse the meds, I try to stay comfortable so I can work. I understand the law and the current opiate crisis very well. I have other medical conditions, and he did not ask about or take any of those into consideration. I know that because this was my first visit and he never questioned me about any of it. I was honest, and wrote on the intake paperwork I had a history of abusing drugs and alcohol in the past!!! 33 years ago!!! This doctor had an agenda, and it was not his patient's best interest, and the check-out woman needs to learn how to speak respectfully to patients. I had an appointment with this doctor for 1:15. I was told there was 6 others in front of me. I got to the clinic 30 minutes ahead of time to complete my paperwork. I can't understand why some doctors feel it's ok to make patients wait for their services. If he was 5 or10 minutes late it would be understandable. My time is just as important to me as his is to him. All is office had to do was call and tell me to come in at a later time. I am going to make it a point to let everyone I know about his practice and scheduling. One day, he will regret his sloppy and inconsiderate office practices. DO NOT USE! They will lie and coerce you into having procedures they can't garauntee work all in the name of "We follow CDC guidelines"! That's BS as I contacted CDC, got the so called guidelines sent to me. They will take you off any and all opiate meds ( according to young NP, cause the owner wants everyone off them) not concerned that you've been almost pain free for yrs prior to going to them. I happened to meet someone, married and began living in FL. I am now chair bound unable to do anything I did prior to going to them. DO NOT MOVE TO FL if you require pain mgmt! They think everyone is STUPID if you question them. I didn't want to give any stars but it forced me to give it one. I wanted to be able to ignore the bad reviews I've read about this place because my doctor just joined this practice. I loved Dr. Middendorf and was told my appointment would be with him. After waiting 1 1/2 hours to see the doctor, a PA came in to see me and told me I could wait for the Dr. But it would be a longer wait. In fact, he said that I would likely not see my physician on any appointment. Since they are so busy all the time, they don't schedule appointments with certain providers, you just have to go with the luck of the draw. More than likely, he said, I would always see a PA or an NP on each appointment. I explained that was unacceptable as I made the appointment with Dr. Middendorf and I cannot wait any longer today since I need to get back to work. I don't know what they are trying to accomplish at this facility/practice, but I feel like they are more concerned with the quantity of patients they see in order to jack up their profits. I'm very saddened that Dr. Middendorf decided to join this group as I felt he was a very professional and competent provider but now that he has joined this group, my feelings have changed. As a patient, I should be able to choose my provider. Every person who spoke in this office complained about how "backed up" they are and that they cannot complete their tasks in a timely manner because they had to help with this procedure or take care of that problem. Obviously, they need more employees....alas, this will cut into their profits so I'm sure it is out of the question to hire additional employees. After waiting an hour and a half to see the provider, the PA spent 10 minutes and sent me to another waiting room to wait to check out! I have never seen this in my life....herding cattle! I will not be back after this initial visit. Hopefully, my primary care physician will be able to refer me to a physician who still cares about his patients. read more
